Okay guys, I am going to bring to you an interesting event that's already trending in the Nigerian social media spaces. It's a touching story of a Yoruba woman, I guess a widow who moved into a house her husband started but was unable to complete . She and her young kids had to move into the uncompleted building because she said she could not afford the high rent agents/landlords were calling for their apartments. Shortly after the woman made this post public on social media, Nigerians from all tribes and social class responded showing pity and compassion towards her as many pledged to donate to help her make the uncompleted building more habitable for her and the kids. Hours gone no one fulfilled their big promises except one Igbo man who doesn't even live in Lagos state that sent the woman 1million naira and the woman is already overjoyed and couldn't hold her joy as she came back online to share her testimony which has now encouraged others to start making their little contributions. Guys guess why I brought this topic here? If you have observed, as I have observed over the years before now, the most popular political song most Yorubas sing even offline is this: AN IGBO MAN WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA! and to them, so long as this is fulfilled, they are happy, whether the person ruling Nigeria is ruining it or not and making life miserable for them, to them it doesn't matter to them so long as Igbo man or woman does not become President of Nigeria. Interview most of them why they don't want Peter Obi to emerge President of Nigeria and they will tell you with pride and joy that AN IGBO MAN WILL NEVER RULE NIGERIA! and whenever they say it, they feel so fulfilled and overjoyed with pride that they said it. Ask most of them what an IGBO man or woman has done to them personally and they will go back to 1966 to tell you how Igbo soldiers did this and that coup. Ask them if there were no other coups or even bloody coup d'etats after the January 1966 coup, and they will start throwing tantrums and insults with joy and fulfillment. Make una continue sha, na nature go handle all these things with time, I pray most of us live to see ourselves ![]() See here

But Yorubas have helped the Igbos most because they see them as their brothers and sisters...junior brothers and sisters. It is a legacy thing for Yorubas to help their Igbo brethren without eye service. |

Good humanitarian act there by the spirited persons. Humanity can be bettered when it is not seen from a narrow ethno-regional sentiments point of view. |

Na so we dey do for all of them - Hausa, Yoruba, Igala, Nupe, Jukun, Gwagyi, etc. the average Igboman dont look at your tribe to pull you up. ITS IN OUR BLOOD - AND THEY ALL KNOW IT. BUT YOU CANT FORCE NO MAN TO LIKE YOU - AND WE THE IGBOS TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT COMPLETELY. THEY JUST US FOR THE FUN OF IT - CAUSE THE FACT IS, NONE OF THEM CAN GENUINLEY POINT OUT WHY HE HATES THE IGBO MAN. THEY WILL TELL YOU HE IS TOO POMPOUS, HE SHOWS HE IS RICH. AS IF WE TIE ANYBODY HAND NOT TO BE TOO POMPOUS OR RICH! GUES WHAT, THEY LOOOOOOOOVEEEEE THE FULANI MAN SO MUCH - JUST FOR BUTCHERING THEM IN THEIR VILLAGES AND NOW EVEN IN THEIR CITIES. ![]() |

franchasng:i don't think you can have a more compassionate tribe than Yorubas in this country.. They will give you without care about your religion or ethnicity. Be that as it may Nigerians are naturally givers when it comes to things like this, do you know or have idea of people who gave money to the scammed Blessing Okoro? No one knows. TO your subtle topic some of us that are apolitical will always come out and educate your myopic kinds because it's election season you will start dishing out all sort of baseless innuendos, lies, fallacies just become of your prefereed candidate.. What you are actually doing as a matter of fact is to disenfranchised him from people who might actually vote for him with this kind of brainless post op made. Same antics were played by you guys from 2011,2015,2019, you lots were busy calling Hausa Fulani different kind of names on line and here you are in disbelief why your preferred candidate did not win any state core north, north west and east right? Now that the siting President is Yoruba your eternal nemesis in Nigeria it has come back to be "Yoruba said Ignis will never be president in Nigeria" when you troll someone just be expecting the person to troll you back on a bigger level and stop crying when what you dish is served to you. Alot of Yorubas and Igbos are best if friends in real life and both knows none has any problywith Igbo ruling the nation.. But you lots were the one making fun of the incumbent calling him all sort of names and you expect some mind you "some" of his etnnic brother and sisters not to come online to his defense? If they don't come you have another name for them Coward right.? |

Everything is now linked to the issue of igbo presidency. If you like, dash all Yoruba 100 billion dollars each, it doesn't change the fact that you ibos need to play the right politics Zik aligned with the north, he lost out Ojukwu came back from exile, aligned with the north, he lost out Igbos aligned with the north through pdp for 24 years, they lost out. Now Obi is aligning with the north again. Seems like you people love your chains |

franchasng The OP is just being mischievous and trying to insult other tribes. Why did you Igbo brother give her the money just so all the Igbos in the world will use it to insult her and her tribe just the way you are doing now. Why give a gift and turn around and tell all your tribe members to start raining insults on the woman and her tribe. This is not helping and the money given by your Igbo brother was not given in good faith I am neither Igbo nor Yoruba but I will do everything in my power to ensure that no Igbo ever smell the presidency in Nigeria Cc sweerychick Zionmdde |
