To vote:
1. You must have a voter's card.
2. You must be willing to vote.
3. You must leave you house to the pooling unit.
4. You must cast your vote.
5. You must wait for the vote to be counted
6. You must ensure the officer announced the counted votes.
7. You must ensure all party agents sign the announced results.
8. You must ensure the announced results are uploaded if such option is available
9. Take videos recordings of each events, upload online.
10. If you are capable, follow officers to state collection centre.

During your voters registration. You are made to indicate your residential address. This is used to assign pooling unit to you.

So many people make very costly mistake here. They input the wrong address. When INEC assign a pooling unit to them based on the address the provided. The pooling unit because far from where they live.

It becomes difficult to go to the pooling unit to vote. In the case where they are able to reach the pooling unit. They now have to align with the dominant party at the pooling unit or risk putting themselves in danger because they are strangers in that location.

For some who have relocated. It is important you revalidate your voters card and update your residential address to your new location.

This is because, your neighbours see you often. They may not talk to you but they know. The place you left which you think people they know you. You will be shocked, many have left like you too.

Like the holy write says, "there arouse a pharaoh who knew not Joseph".

The people who now live they may not know you and if your candidate or party of voting choice differ from theirs. You will be putting yourself in harms way.

The biggest security is living among your people, friends, neighbours. When you stray into unknown territory, you stray into danger.

Once you get your pooling unit right. That's not more than 10 poles from your house. You are 90% secure. You can vote any candidate of your choice without intimidation.

You can wait after voting to see the votes counted, recorded and uploaded. You can make demands without fear.

But! Once you make the mistake of leaving your territory to go vote in another territory. Otilo

Vote defense start from the place you casted your vote. If you voted in your territory. It's easy to defend your vote.

But, if you voted outside your territory. You can't defend yourself vote without endangering yourself.

Defending your vote doesn't mean defending my vote or your neighbours vote.

This is a typical Nigerian mentality.

You want to defend everyone's vote.

No! Defend only your one vote. Let your one vote count irrespective of who your candidate is.

Your vote is the blessing the nation gave you to choose who will the affairs that will affect your life for the next four years.

Don't play with it.

Don't mind what your friends do with this blessing.

Focus only on yourself.

Even if your candidate didn't win. You made your choice. This satisfaction makes the effect or reward of the winner more bearable or rewarding.
