Trump is increasingly getting desperate. The frustrations in his recent tweets are almost palpable. It is clear that Trump doesn't want to do this, but if the Iranians don't play ball, he can't back down on his threats without losing credibility, and so he has to do something. The problem, though, is that Iran has shown that they are willing and able to reciprocate any kind of damage inflicted upon them on the Gulf states. Like I said here yesterday, if Iran's current regime would embrace peace, at least, for the sake of their people, they should embrace peace cos America is a destroyer.
