But US has the world's most powerful military so why can't they open the strait by force? So Trump knew US would be helpless about the strait during war time and he chose to start this war.

I think the idea was that if Ayatolla was eliminated the country will burst into chaos and the people will clamour for regime change....then America will help them achieve that....the didn't expect Iran to still be functioning well despite the death of their leader.

Just a few hours ago the minister said we will never negotiate.

He said death was an honor.

Weeks ago he denied any negotiations with the US saying Trump was a liar, Pakistan then comes out to say it was mediating the negotiations.

IRGC is synonymous with lies but bias has blinded its supporters.

Trumps condition was open the strait or face extinction and they opened the strait.

His conditions are also, no nuclear weapon, no long range missiles. I find this reasonable than remove US military presence in the Middle East, who will protect the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi? The IRGC?
Saudi has had no wars with the US and their relationship has been great for years they wouldn’t trade that to get in bed with the IRGC and lose Mecca.
