If you fall sick and you take some drugs. Wouldn't it take atleast few days for the drugs to make you well? The strait have just been opened for about 8 to 10 hours ago and you have started wailing. Wouldn't it take some time for logistics through the strait and will oil just fly immediately to the different points of interest globally from the middle east. Oga, rest and be patient. It's just too early to start wailing. Oil price is still $89 per barrels as I make this comment which is still high as far as I am concerned but in the coming day, we keep observing and monitoring what happens at the strait and how much of the activities further crash the price of oil. |

BrickandLace:You say this now. If PMS price fall quickly below 900 Naira per litre, as I am predicting it will, you will sing another tune. |

Runaway22:Stop embarrassing Nigeria before the world. APC did not cause fuel prices hike the entire world is experiencing currently. The reckless and unthinking "Orange Man" did. Similarly, APC will not be responsible for the fall in PMS price now that the "Orange Man", with tail between his leg, decided to 'do a deal'. |

happney65:You are here cursing your nation and stating her leaders are "Oloriburukus". Yet you don't have a full grasp of what is going on to note that, currently, analyst globally are mocking Trump for recklessly plunging nations of the world into an energy crisis and severe socio-economic difficulties. Whereas the shameless Trump, having learnt a big lesson that the USA is not the supreme leader of the world, has done an embarrassing 'deal' climbdown without achieving a single one of around five or so reasons (find out for yourself) he gave for starting this senseless and egotist war too many indulged him to prosecute Why can you people ever temper your dislike for your own nation and fellow men of different ethnicity, religion and political affiliation with commonsense to understand you must not associate us with global difficulties we played no part causing? You hate Tinubu over fuel subsidy removal because you still want to buy petrol for 50 Naira per litre? Fine. Yet, what does this current global status quo have to do with Nigeria or Tinubu? |

happney65:SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TO FACTOR IN THAT $2 MILLION. THE MONEY WILL NOT FALL FROM THE SKY TO PAY FOR IT. THE COST WILL BE PASSED ON TO CONSUMERS. YOU SUPPORTED THE ILLEGAL INVASION OF IRAN, SO DON'T COMPLAIN.. |

Kushites:So the next excuse for APC true true is the $2M right? |

Runaway22:What excuses is needed when Nigeria has become sane under PBAT to the extent global developments, i.e opening of Strait of Hormuz for two weeks, will have a corresponding effect in Nigeria i.e noticeable and quick drop in PMS per litre price? Has something happened in Rwanda, Cameroon, Kenya or Zimbabwe that has not happened in Nigeria for you to be casting your nation in a negative light as you're doing here prematurely? I don't know any other nation full of so many self-haters, like our own, to the extent we are even ready to accept blame for issues that has nada to do with us |

WizardOfNG:Is it that you people are programmed to be insensitive to issues or they sorted you people out who think the same in that APC ? |

Well, crude oil is at 94 dollars per barrel.I'm expecting some price reduction re PMS in the next week or so. But not below N1000. Also, it is still early days, so things are unpredictable for now. I'm hoping that things stay calm for the next one week before we can all breathe easy. Also this is a ceasefire, not a ceastion of hostilites. Ceasefire. I'm still cautious. (Israel has said they are still going to pound Hexbollah, for now..so anything can happen). Also, a lot of damage to oil facilites was done. Depending on how long it takes to fix them, oil prices will stay high for now, and by extension fuel prices. |

Runaway22:What is insensitive in asking people to apportion blame correctly? Is it fair if I blame you when my Car breaks down even as you have nothing at all to do with that development? Trump caused this crisis for the world. Currently, 70 plus democrat have demanded his removal as President and are insisting Congress lead. Fact check this. How dare you guys make this very serious and grave global problem, caused by a sociopathic narcissist, to be the fault of Tinubu and the APC Government? |
| Re: What Will Nigeria Do After The Cease Fire Agreement by WizardOfNG: 11:59am On Apr 08 |
BrickandLace:Yeah. |
| Re: What Will Nigeria Do After The Cease Fire Agreement by nairalanda1(m): 12:01pm On Apr 08 |
WizardOfNG:I guess we are not denying trump caused this, but at the end, the government of APC could have, and I am not saying this to score points here...diversifed the economy and brought in things like tax reforms and removed subsides in 2015, not now. This would have provided some more income hopefully which would have helped with some form of limited subsidy for even some people. |
