“Oil plunged toward $90 a barrel after the US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire that’s expected to halt the American-Israeli military campaign in exchange for Tehran reopening the Strait of Hormuz,” Bloomberg reports.

CNBC: Oil prices plunge below $100 after Iran agrees to safe passage through Strait of Hormuz during ceasefire.

Good one....let all those affected breath small..... hopefully the beginning of this cease fire should lead to the permanent end of this war.

I fear who no fear America and Israel .

All this while, trump was joking with Iran but he was more than determined to send Iran back to the stone age if they didn't agree to his ultimatum . The man really mean to reduce Iran back to dust this time.

Na God save Iran I swear

Stupidity is fighting who pass you. And equally allowing your home to be used as battle field. The damage in Iran will take 30years to fix couple with bad economic situation it is facing.

Never mix religion with politics. The result is catastrophic.

Oil prices falling after the ceasefire shows how global markets react instantly to peace. But in Nigeria, Tinubu’s government keep failing to translate such gains into relief for citizens. While the world enjoys cheaper crude, Nigerians are still battling insecurity and skyrocketing fuel prices. This is proof that bad governance, not global oil trends, is our real problem.

This is really some good news. I really hope to see this reflect quickly on the cost of fuel, diesel and other commodities that have a direct impact on the people.

It doesn't matter. Most crude laden ships probably wouldn't even arrive at their ports of discharge before the end of the cease fire but it doesn't matter anyways. The US is done. America has been roundly humiliated in Iran. For all the bluster the US put up, they could not force the Iranians to open the strait and they couldn't use thier military to open it either.
