Someone represented a state for over 2 decades, all through that period, his interest wasn't in Ogun state but when he realized he has no chance in Lagos state, then Ogun state should be the dumping site.

You could have a point tho.. I’m not 💯 conversant with Ogun politics (although I served/lived there many years back). One thing I do know is that Ogun politics is always tightly contested.. heavy political juggernauts fill Ogun well well!

Ogun West ( Yewa already have 2 Deputy governors including the current one though they are yet to have the governor

Ijebu and Remo supposed to be playing same politics but Remo have been outsmarting them. The Ijebu are also yet to produce the governor or deputy governor

There is also Imala axis which never produced both governor and DG
