What i told you was gotten from the Economist magazine when Trump said the US wont be affected by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

My friend if the price of rice doubles everyone pays double for rice including the woman that sells rice - rice she was consuming would now be worth double the price it was before. It doesn't mean she has a net loss from the increase in price. Nigeria makes more money when oil price rises yet we pay more at the pump. See below

My friend none of this is guaranteed. The only things we know for sure is that Iran did an about-face and agreed to cease fire and also agreed to open Hormuz, both of which they had said they'd never agree to until total end of war and guarantees of no more attacks form US and Israel.

Yes, the threat of the bombing of power stations and brisges forced Iran brought the Iranians to the negotiation table.

However, the conditions they got to too favorable. Trump capitulated.

Iran waa one of the most sanctioned countries in the world. In 2017, Trumped placed punitive sanctions on Iran and cancelled the agreement it signed to allow international monitoring of its nuclear program.

Now, all the sanctions ever heaped on Iran would be lifted. The country is now far better off because of the war. And thats just one of the conditions.

It also promises to pay Iran reparations for the damaged done.

Go and tell that to US conaumers who have to pay more for gasoline because of a war they never wanted. Trump is solely to blame for the price hikes

The price hike is due to a scarcity caused by the closure of Strait or Hormuz.

It is putting more money into the pocket of US as a country, just as it is also putting more money into the pocket of Nigeria though pump prices are high. If oil went to $400 Nigeria will be one of the richest countries in the world - though pump prices would have quadrupled
