Well, we have the players we have. While other UCL contenders are singing top talents for all their important positions, we are signing Rashford on loan and relying on old papa Lewandowski and slow Ferran Torres.

It shows. We created numerous chances but we couldn't put them away because of lack of quality.

Normally, I don't like to be too harsh on Curbasi. He's still only a teenager at just 19. Yes he's been a mainstay in Barcelona and the national team witg over 100 appearances for both club and country. However, he's still so young.

I ask myself what I was doing at his age and there's no comparison.

This incident is yet another area for him to learn. I won't cast him aside as useless just because of it. Yes it's high profile error that could change the UCL for us. It sucks.

Yeah it sucks. These are a split second decisions that ruins everything.

He got similar red card last season against Benfica in the round of 16 and he got it again this season in quarter finals.

Eventually, Barcelona must dig deeper to invest in this squad if we wish to win the UCL. Surround the young players with more experience to support them. A real leader. There was no real leader out there tonight.

For his age, Curbasi is just too slow. How can a 19 year old be slower than some people's grandma?

I don't think speed is Curbasi best quality nor do I think it ever will. He's fast enough but not one of the fastest. But he keeps letting us down at the biggest stage.

Atletico were not superior to Barça at any piont in the match but they're walking away with a cool 2 nil lead all thanks to a single moment.

Thank God, it wasn't Araujo who committed the offence he would have been roasted.

We don't really have the squad to win the UCL.

No way this our squad can win against Bayern or PSG or even Arsenal.

Remove Raphinha and Lamine, there's no other players we have in attack. And Raphinha has been injured for much of this season. Dude has missed about 4 months of football with various injuries. So, it's only Lamine Yamal.

In defence, we have 19 year old Curbasi and left back Gerrard Martin converted as CB. Then Kounde and Balde, no one else. No depth in quality. Cancelo is old man on loan from Saudi league.

This is the people we want to defeat PSG and Bayern with? It is better we lose in quarter finals than go to final and lose when we're seeing the trophy. Nothing will pain more than that.

Infact I'll consider it a miracle if Hansi Flick can win UCL with this team like this.
