Timo that PSG match postponement has been in the news for over a month now. Why are they doing it? I will tell you why. They're doing that to gain an undue advantage over their opponents it is the exact same thing they did against Chelsea, they brought in their subs and from 74-90 minutes they scored 3 goals. Now they want to do it in the second leg against Liverpool. The EPL is the only league in Europe with 2 domestic cups, one among those cups has 2 legged matches, coincidentally they're all played during the knockout phase of UCL. It is madness. How on God's green earth 🌎 will those players not get tired 😩 😴 when the English FA will never in their life postpone any match. Basically other leagues will shift matches to favor their teams in UCL but the youseless English FA will add more petrol to their clubs fire fixtures. All coaches have complained about fixture congestion. On average EPL clubs play over 8-10 more games than the other farmers league per season. Look at the disgraceful way English clubs are being chased out of the champions League. Now take a trip down memory lane.....the beginning of the group stage EPL flogged almost every opponent that came their way, why? Their legs were fresh period. In the top 10 of the group stage there were 6 5 EPL clubs out of 6 that played. Fast forward a few months the same clubs began to struggle against the same opponents that should tell you something na. Timoleon: |

fourboys:I'm telling you that Arsenal played on a Saturday but still won their opponents who played on Friday. Liverpool has no excuse. |

1. The 'postponed match' is yet to have any effect on the outcomes of games so far as it is not yet 11th of April. 2. While the English league does have 2 domestic cups, the top teams don play from the beginning so they are not in it from the very start until later. 3. The Fa cup only has double legged fixtures in the semi finals and we are just getting to the semi finalsm so this has had no impact on the champions league so far. The Spanish Copa del Rey has double legged fixtures too, you don't see them using that as an excuse. Madrid, Barca, ATM seems to do just fine despite always getting to the finals/semis of the Copa del Rey. As someone else pointed out to you, Bayern, and ATM also played over the weekend, meanwhile ATM has also had to play 2 legs of Copa del Rey against Barca plus the first leg of the semi final against Real sociedad. Will a postponed match be an added advantage? Definitely yes. The postponed match is however not an excuse at this point as it has yet to have any impact on games played so far. ViceGovernor: |

That's why he still mentioned sporting and Arsenal na. The Friday 'advantage' didn't deter Arsenal from winning despite the fact they played a day later. fourboys: |

Chummynoni:Fatigue is a big excuse for failure. If fatigue matters, by now Man Utd should be on top of the EPL table since they ain't playing more than only EPL ![]() |

A[quote author=Chummynoni post=139042076]I'm an arsenal fan but you can't compare sporting with PSG . /quote] Why can't we compare sporting with PSG? Sporting defeated PSG this season. Unbeaten in 23 games at home and never failed to score in their home games till last Tuesday. You think they're some average team because they lost 3-0 to Bodø/glimt. They're not as weak as you think |
