Hello Nairalanders, my friend got a lady pregnant and later discovered that both he and the lady's genotype are AS. Now he is confused because the lady is suggesting abortion but he is not In support of that.

3. How many months into the pregnancy is she? I hear there are BIG MAN tests that you can do to confirm the Genotype of a child invitro (inside belle). This is a more sensible gamble.

Am a good example of that, we end with AS twice, but then I won't recommend it. They should seek a medical expert for advice.

At this stage of exposure and awareness, the first thing you even need to ask and check before getting close to the opposite sex is their blood group/genotype, STI and infectious diseases and also lineage or where they are from to avoid stories that touch

The child has more chance of being AS than AA or SS.
Possible scenario= AA AS AS SS each with 25% each.
So your theory that the chance of being SS is high is wrong.

There's a test you can do even as the pregnancy is still early but it is expensive
