Companies have some quantities of their products they allow employees to eat/drink/chew depending on the company's products. It's highly regulated. Some specific quantity is given every month to employees based on individual staff grade as sampling while some can be taken within premises, called drinking/eating chewing bay, not indiscriminate eating/drinking/chewing in undesignated places etc

Nigerians need to be disciplined like animals sometimes if not they won't hear. You can put a waste bin right in front of them and they will still dump that sugar cane on the floor. I'm talking from experience

Oga, there is a limit to what quantity of sugarcane those workers can consume. As a child, we do go to Nasco in Jos, you can eat all the biscuits you want within the premises, but we all know how han nature is, a worker in that place can never eat much of them, even as a pupil on excursion, the smell of the biscuit will begin to irritate you at some point.

The biscuits they eat are unpacked ones. Once it is packed it is an offence to eat it. Unpacked biscuits are mostly defective.

Your argument is based on individual reasoning, but workplace policies are built on collective behaviour. One person’s ‘little’ becomes a systemic problem when normalized across hundreds. That’s exactly how disorder starts.

Things have really changed. My mom used to run a staff canteen in NASCO Biscuits. People were allowed to eat a trailer load if the could but never allowed to take out of the company's premises ...dis na unto sapa level

I know one developer who allowed his number two to steal from him thinking you can allow small stealing, other workers warned him but oga did not listen. It was when number two stole and sold goods worth N20m oga woke up.
