He's a senior officer in that base and the report says the senior officers ignored using the assigned money for maintenance for the purpose. I guess he didn't know that he will need those vehicles to safe his life

Close down the prisons and free everyone too. You can't claim to forgive someone who has probably killed more than hundred soldiers but lock up someone who killed a single person in prison. It makes no sense.

Please, stop. Funds are always and promptly released to military, top military officials have their allocations readily available . It is one thing to blame the government when it comes to how they treat the average citizens but not the top military brass.

The politicians are scared of the uniform guys, so they don't play with their money. Now, on the flip side of things, the senior men in uniforms want to have same financial strenght like the agbada men, so, they divert funds meant for main functions into personal use.
Haven't you noticed that they have not adopted new tactics to this insurgency fight? Just the same old news of, they repel boko boys, killed scores.
Gov' steadily sends senior officers and soldiers overseas to train in different counterterroist styles, they come back and apply nothing but old ways. It is a damn shame. Fg has always played its part, releasing funds to defence on time. Defence has one of the largest budget around.
