Otas Evbuomwan Under Fire For Bigotted Posts About Yoruba Women. by naptu2(op): 9:19pm On Apr 09
Otas Evbuomwan is the US Operations Lead at Risevest. She recently began making tweets against bigotry and accusing others of bigotry, but people have revealed that she has consistently been making bigotted posts against Yoruba women.

Adenike Ajoke @ashantewa1

Feminist, but you hate yoruba women.

This is someone I see some top yoruba feminists kikiki with. Since 2013 o 😂🤦🏾‍♀️, I have a folder full of this for you to know how bad it is, but I’ll keep them for later.
When I tell you some of these feminists will throw you under the bus just because you’re Yoruba, the hatred that they have for you as a Yoruba woman, you don’t want to know.
She literally called us an animal and even inserted colourism at a point!
For how long will we keep quiet about this?

This is why we are telling skit makers and movie actors to stop portraying Yoruba women in such negative stereotype.
We don’t find it funny!
Yoruba women aren’t loose, dirty or ugly. We are one of the most fashion forward, beautiful and educated women in Nigeria.

We care about our health and we’re not automatic infection carriers like it’s been portrayed on here.

My question is, what did we do to deserve thishuh We are just fun loving people that likes to achieve great things and celebrate with owanbe, wearing our gele and aso ofi.

Yoruba women, know who you call your friends!

Oyinda @yorubachic

This lady was in DMs of Yoruba women yesterday telling us that the Yorùbá women we are fighting for are hungry.

SHE'S NOT REPENTANT

Yoruba women have faced enough bigotry on this app to last generations. God will punish anyone who ever tries to gaslight us again.

This is someone who claims to be a feminist and against bigotry.

Mr Dhikr @MrDhikr

Otas Evbuomwan, Operations Lead at Risevest, has been making bigoted tweets about Yoruba women since 2013, unprovoked. It’s 2026 and she’s still doubling down on her extremely vile tweets about the Yorubas. A disgusting human being.

Bayo Bilisi @Bayo_Bilisi

@Cuntosaur made a lot of derogatory tweets not only about Yorùbá women but also Edo women.

She also celebrated cross border prostitution.

The big question is, do @Risevest align with these views?

Let's inform them about this development at hello@risevest.com

If you also have a LinkedIn account. Please take the battle there!

Eke Urum (@eldvine) is the CEO of Risevest. Some people have also accused him of making bigotted posts in the past, but he has denied the accusation.

valar morghulis @eldvine

We saw this late yesterday and started an internal discussion this morning. Expect a response.

Akin Olaoye @akintollgate

Those tweets are vile, toxic and concerning. @Risevest is a very fine organization and this is not what they should be associated with in any shape or form. Rather than locking her account, she needs to apologize for those despicable tweets over the past few years.

I will speak to the leadership team. I am very certain they will respond.

Abeg we have passed this stage as Yoruba's.

People only talk about those who are doing better than them.

Let them be talking, that won't slow our progress down

Lol below is the picture of the bigoted hag calling Yoruba women ugly. Judge for yourself.

Meanwhile, below her picture is that of a Yoruba lady , Olatanwa, on twitter tackling the nauseating bigotry of this Otas woman.

Forumers can judge beauty of the ethnic group of the bigoted woman alongside that of Yorubas using the two images since the bigot has decided to foolishly stereotype ugliness to Yorubas.

Any intelligent Yoruba will know it's all envy of an ethnic group more sophisticated, blessed, refined, successful and progressive than their haters

if the president and the president's wife can say similar things about other tribes, then an ordinary civilian shouldn't be held to a higher standard.

We have bigots that have been rewarded with ambassadorial positions and earth did not stop spinning. We have thugs like MC Oluomo that have threatened genocide against other ethnic groups living in certain parts of Nigeria and the sky did not turn green.

This beautiful young lady has done nothing wrong.

Precisely. My conclusion also in my post above. It is what happens when a people stand out for the right reasons and others just can't match up. Toxic envy and bitterness begins. That's how losers make themselves feel better against those superior to them at virtually everything.

Let them have a taste of their own medicine.

When they do it to the SE they called it sophisticated. Now other tribes have learnt from them.

Terrible woman. Abused Yoruba all her life then went ahead to give birth to a tiny Yoruba woman. Isn’t that madness of some sort.

She just ruined her career. Internet never forgets, even after you repent.

Many are still like her bashing Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa unprovoked. Many of these people don't know they're joking with their lives.

Look at the picture of the woman calling others ugly and compare it to the picture of the Yoruba lady tackling. Her throwback bigotry.

Would it be fair to state the women of the ethnic group the bigot hails from are ugly going by her frumpy image?

Grow up and try to decent for once in your life. Your nauseating hatred of Yorubas has turned you into something unpalatable yet you can't see it.
