They enter through compromised central sewage system especially those that empty into nearby bushes or ditches.
This system is especially rampant in Abuna unlike Lagos that practice decentralized sewage system, one house per septic tank.

This fucking scary, my formal house in Abuja I live in fear of snake everyday, everyday. The thought of seeing it is in my mind all the time. Because of the way the house is built.

I know we saw a snake at the toilet of our two storey hostel many years ago in the university. It's a huge hostel and how that slithering creature got there we don't know.
