He has committed no offence whatsoever. He's doing whatever apology that he's doing under duress. He was forced to do the needless apology. |

Irony1:igbos did not start from the 90s, and yes I have heard of Eze nidigbo since then.. Infact a friend of mine was even crowned Eze nidigbo in the 90s albeit older friend tho in Aguda surulere Lagos although another person also laid claim to it. Even in Garki Abuja they have two eze there.. Since the one that called himself Ọba of Yoruba there died like 5 years ago no one has be installed or lay clam to it. Now let me point why I quote you. NO1, there is no way any Yoruba man will try to instigate non Nigerians about Eze titles in non SE region.. No Yoruba man or woman can be that petty.. It's strictly non of their business. This hatred you phantom that Yorubas have for you and your kindred is very folly.. They don't care, ask yourself if they do care apart from the one that happened in Akure.. Has any Yoruba man protest exes in Lagos, Osun, Ibadan, Oyo Ogun States? No never happened apart from the one that happened in Akure which we all knew the genesis.. Infact j think it's because of the welcoming tolerance of the Yorubas that made this to spread to other ckunfiby Igbos. No 2,i dont think there would have been any eyebrow raised if the name Eze was not used to describe a leader of Igbo community, chairman, President, etc can be used not a name that will be in context to a ruler on the land nor any elaborate ceremony, now that's where there is the difference from the hausa or fulani own.. They do that without any form of pageantry.. Whatever they call themselves is not even know by the host community.. If an hausa man decides to call himself a seriki in Moscow.. No one cares but immediately he does pageantry, build a palace and hold a court there will be a problem. Kindly please stop antagonistic behavior of yours inciting igbos against Yorubas.. Yorubas also have obas outside Yoruba land and most Yorubas in SW are against it.. It's not nice for you to come online and make this kind of claims. |

xxxx999jon:Leadership am Mornachial systems are two very distinct systems, igbos have had leadership dating as far back as 948 A.D.. It’s the unnecessary ceremony of selecting ezeingbo that has caused the unnecessary attention. Also, eze, obi,Igwe are often incorrectly used. |

Irony1:let's just even assume it started from south west, are you not even ashwthat you claiming what your ancestors did not even ascribe to? If it's a good thing why are other people in other countries against it? Can't you think? |

airsaylongcome:Yes,also,it’s the unnecessary ceremony toward selecting the leaders that is attracting these unnecessary attention towards the igbos…. People also often incorrectly use eze, obi, and Igwe. |

Thewrath:all human communities have been having leadership from stone age. I agree the names are incorrectly used and the ceremony is very unnecessary, it's an affront on the host community to crown your own king in a foreign land and hold a ceremony just like they did for theirs, what is wrong is wrong.. Igwe in igbo land mostly means 1st citizen like the Greeks and Roman republics did in a republican setting.. An Eze means a king, you will hardly here any one calling him self Igwe of Maidugury but Eze of Maidugury. Let's just drop this thing and move on to avoid unnecessary trouble.. Name like chairman, president, Marshall etc of igbo community should be okay and without the pomp and pageantry in it. |

wediehere1:Oho...Deji of Akure is a bully and wild. BUT we have not seen much of him in the Banditry going on in his domain. Or,his powers ends with Igbo descents in his domain? Mtchweee 😔 |

wediehere1:true to an extent but in my own opinion no stranger, not Igbo, Yoruba, Fulani should create room for having a throne in another man's land, |

Igbos need to stop this idea of making themselves king in a foreign land. How can you go to another man's land and constitute a government. WhatsApp groups to help each other is enough. I wonder where they get all that idea from. Igbos are known from time immemorial not to have a monarch, where are they getting all the crazy kingship from. |

There should never be an Eze outside Igboland. Whoever is giving them such titles should be arrested or ostracized from Igboland. |

Irony1:The*IRONY* is that reasonable people mostly from Igbo descent have been critical about this matter ‼️ Perhaps, it means SW Yoruba people are NOT ready to tolerate impunity and other TRIBES learnt from them. The ONLY difference is that SW people did not send Igbo people away or burnt 🔥 their businesses like in SA. And do you think it is proper for Igbo people to settle in a Foreign land and impose their own King against the local people ⁉️ |

Irony1:keep on deluding yourself on people that don't care or reason about you.. Like they don't have their own problems, stop blaming other people for your own foolishness. Yorubas have no business with this. Carry our own cross and stop blaming others than yourself it's embarrassing to you that think that way anyone that think that way is low on brain matter. |
