The way Bayelsans welcomed Bola Ahmed Tinubu was quite organized and highly ceremonial. The state government prepared extensively for his visit, showing that it was more than just a routine presidential trip.

Why calling them hungry people? That's a very harsh and irresponsible statement. You have issue with Tinubu and APC, not with Bayelsa people. Is it a crime to welcome a president into their state? If Atiku or Obi go there tomorrow, people will come out to welcome them too. Will you also say they are hungry? Let's be reasonable with what we say online pls.

It’s no surprise that the state welcomed His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) with celebration and applauses. Bayelsa state has always been a Western state located in the South South! Our names and traditions is a testimony to this facts!

If history is revisited, No doubt we wouldn’t find a link between Bayelsa and the West. I am convinced and assured that my ancestors made it a destination due to her enormous wealth!

But we can never forget Delta! Where they left for Bayelsa, and same time Edo, where our own ancestors left for Delta.

In all, God bless the entirety of the South South! From the Ikwerre’s in Rivers who stood by us all the times, to the Eleme people who have long been steadfast with us.

Never can we forget the loyalty of Akwa Ibom and Cross River. We had our disputes like brothers but never made each other enemies.

I think the best people in Nigeria today is the South South. No allegiance to any party and strictly on performance!

With or without politics, we will forever be brothers!
