No matter what you tell them, there are still many who would "rather die abroad than to remain in Nigeria"

Nibo?

May be you can do care work sha for abroad, with that qualification.

Who you wan counsel for abroad? You must have spent years and integrated well and know their system before you can counsel them.

Better abort mission.

They sell their lands and property and sell themselves to slavery...I really don't understand this ....

You sell your cars , houses and go and be a slave doing care jobs cleaning anus only to hutsle all your life till 60s just to come back to buy house and ridiculously you might not be able to buy the house , even if you buy the house the kids will not want to come back and maybe your wife

So you end up lonely either here in Nigeria or in old people's home abroad ... whichever way you will be lonely and depressed

That's Japa
how can I sell my house and car as an engr in Nigeria to go to UK to be a care giver?

- I thought travellers usually say there is high level of mental health epidemic in the abroad?

- Meanwhile, I'm neither a gym rat nor a massage therapist.

For mental health, they use psychiatric nurses/doctors.

I said you should start a gym, if your area needs one. That’s on a lighter note sha. You would see I even said you at start a massage palour and be getting free opueh , on top your normal charges.

Stupendous confirmation bias.

DEATH IS NOT THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO A MAN!

Please give me the data of the thousands that slept and woke and some even did this and retired peacefully and happily in that UK.

Now give me the thousands that sletp in Nigeria and did not wake up ( JUST WITHIN 24 HRS IN NIGERIA...DONT GO TOO FAR).

AGAIN....DEATH IS NOT THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO A MAN!

I WOULD RATHER TRAVEL TO THAT OBODOD ABROAD, WORK THREE (3) JOBS AND BE USEFUL AND PRODUCTIVE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE THAT ENDURE A SYSTEM SET OUT TO PREY ON ME, FRUSTRATE ME, AND PRACTICALLY DESIGNED TO KILL MY INNOVATION AND MAKE ME FAIL.

Now you can argue that some people are here Nigeria making it. I agree. But Biko what is the probability that if i start a business in Nigeria and another starts a business in UK for instance, the UK system will not support the business? Unless the person is ignorant about the avrious grants, supports etc. Many Nigerians run from these because their intentions here is to ''scam'' the system. If you are honest in your dealings there are resources here to suppport your innovation. You will be held to ery high standards. In canada, USA, UK, Australia (for instance) there are assistance programs, etc that are set up to ensure businesses survive, with the Directors not asking a girl entrerprenuer to come to a hotel and sleep with them if they want the grant.

LIKE I WILL ALWAYS SAY. I LOVE THAT I AM FROM A TRIBE IN NIGERIA. THE COUNTRY ITSELF, I HATE THE WAY IT IS ADMINISTERED. BUT YOU SEE YOU GUYS WHO COME TO MALIGN AND VILIFY THOSE THAT CHOSE TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY? ONE DAY UNA GO PASS IELTS. Because it is when MOST OF YOU HAVE FAILED OR ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO JAPA THAT YOU GET ANGRY AND GET BITTER.

If this is not the case then these posts are government propaganda and it is useless. The pull factors (overseas) and push factors (in Nigeria) are so strong that many people, not oppurtuned to set up businesses and get good jobs and live a comfortable, would rather leave the country.

Trust me many Nigerians are living better...if you live in a decent 3 bed flat in Nigeria not box houses in UK , you have a decent car with your wife and not entering train like they do in UK and you ha e a decent job paying you 500k to 1 million not doing shift back to back with back piano and insomnia and depression

Trust me the guys in Nigeria are doing far better than you in UK !

The core source of stress, is the Messiah complex, some choose to adopt and getting validation from regularly sorting out black tax.

Some would be packing shifts in order to buy properties back home, ignoring the reality of their health status.

I work as a local government staff here in London and that is the ONLY job I do, no second job as the pay is good for the 36hrs per week, choose when I want overtime with enhanced 1.5/2.0 pay.

My other sources of income is online and at my own determined pace.

I can't be tasking this body with so much pressure, reason I am comfortable with using the word NO.
smart

To be honest, my body is adapting too as I have to pee like every 2 hours or so. Thankfully, the loo ain't too far from the bed, so I stumble back afterwards and continue. And short bursts.

As for spending money, I better or I give it away, but it's spent if invested.
Are you diabetic?

Many are in mental institutions.

Many are struggling and living rough

UK is no joke.

The country is exploitative, and it is good that people are becoming more aware.

.... nonsense talk, is the situation in Nigeria any better, as a family Man do you have good 8 hours of sleep?? NEPA and mosquitoes 🦟 self no go give that sleep, talk less of the stress of making money? and to make matter worse you talk of been exploitative, this is rich coming from a Nigerian where employment law is non existent, where contract staff are on a contract for over ten years and where soldiers in the war front have to purchase there own kit and are paid ₦100k a month for doing a life threatening job.

You escaped Nigeria after shouting on your mandate and after voting in emilokan disaster ba ? I hope you get deported soon back to your Nigeria 😐
Your family will get deported because they travel in a crooked way! I took my time, read, do the necessary things to afford myself and my family legal immigration with career advancement, so I can raise my shoulders. I'm not in your cohort of japa people, I seek knowledge to migrate legally with God blessings. Meanwhile, you see that your bitter soul will continue to sink you and you can never get help. And stop crying upon my post because I wasn't in naija during the election.

Uk or Nigeria, you can be comfortable and happy at anywhere, in fact I wish to be rich in Nigeria than going to UK to do caregiver or pack shift, getting paid for certain amount in Nigeria can make you leave comfortably than looking for what is not lost.

In Nigeria less task, less suing and more power when you get money.
