Lagos State deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat father is from Ogun State and not from Epe lg.
He was the Olu of Afowowa Sogade in Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State, a title he held through his maternal lineage.

U people shouldn't compare what u do in your place to what happens here, where an ebonyi man can't rent house in Anambra let alone contest n where an Anambra man is seen as first class to an ebonyi man.

So Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor is Igbo because he has an Igbo mum? Is that also the case for Seyi's children? I hope you lot know that lots of Lagos politicians either have Igbo wives or Igbo mothers. Pronouncing them as tainted blood may be one of several reasons why Tinubu lost Lagos. Besides, Jimi Agbaje had both Yoruba parents but that didn't stop the "drown in the Lagoon" comment. Does this mean that Tinubu can't win an election without resorting to region, religion and rice?

Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat's mother, the late Alhaja Kehinde Hamzat, was from Iga Egbe in Lagos Island, Lagos State. She was married to the late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, the Olu of Afowowa Sogaade, who was a prominent Lagos politician.
