i wont be surprised if the opposition are already mapping out a strategy to leave ADC , but the loud noise they are doing now may actually give the new party they are going the needed publicity . i don't think they will be naive not to think that with the way things are going with adc , the outcome may not favor them

In whichever party the trio of Atiku, obi, kwankwaso go to the people are moving with them. Come to the north and see what is happening. Even rotten faeces has more value than Tinubu up here

If Pdp did the same thing then I believe Jonathan was so dumb and daft to be so lenient with opposition then. Now they have handed over power to full time politician who doesn't give a fk about good governance but politics.

since a case as being filed for hearing at the central, by the national party what is the rationale behind the ones in state going to court

I think the court & judges have chosen to become a public embrassment entertains cases not tenable

lif the FHC decides the National chairman , automatically where one will know where they fall to ..its common sense

Its a shame what politicians have reduce our court to, every dick n harry just file a case

Of course they are. The deadline for convention and party primary is 31st May. That's like a month and two weeks. Who knows when this case will be decided? Maybe by December... If they don't leave ADC, they won't be able to field any candidate in 2027. They will move to NDC of Bayelsa

Don’t you know that time is running out on them? The electoral process has a timetable, the longer they remain stuck in one place, the narrower their chances become.

In all of this, it’s only Obi and his Igbo supporters I sympathise with. As for the power-mongering Hausa-Fulani militias, they should go and sit down!

Jonathan played against an astute Asiwaju. They also had issues with forming coalition initially but they navigated it well and formed APC years before election and not like them Atiku wey join party already in crisis less than a year to election.

If them APC did same mistake, Jonathan would have capitalized on it. Infact APC also accused INEC of wanting to rig and dem protest for Jega to resign.

Search SSS raid on APC office in 2014, all what APC is doing today is a pay back of what PDP did to them in 2014, I prayed another party win in 2027 so that there party can scatter too.

The truth is that opposition parties are obviously confused and inexperienced in opposition politics. You may not agree with me but that's the truth bcoz I've observed that the ruling party is always ahead of the opposition parties, putting them in a defensive position in all respects when it should be the other way.

That's why you see opposition parties looking pity begging for public sympathy. Was it like that when APC was in opposition?

They made governance miserable for Jonathan and Jonathan became a subject of pity to himself and public sympathy.

The current opposition parties don't have the experience and the number to achieve that. They're not united. They're still looking outside the door of ADC. They're not sure of what would happen to their individual ambition.

Unlike the APC when in opposition, all the merging parties ACN ANPP CPC deregistered themselves and fought the political battle up to the presidency.

Have you forgotten that they always want to take over the control of any party they found themselves.? They want to dictate and drive the party but they will not found their own.

I think it's good for them. I just pity that agulu man who doesn't have a mind of his own.

I stand with you 10000% on this and I think whether we lie it or not we must admit tinubu knows how to play opposition politics but my believe has always been that Al the people around him then my hat have learnt a lesson or two from that experience. I never believed that the likes of Atiku, El Rufai and Co would make such a kindergarten political mistake like this . It iis ways with mixed feelings when I see the present opposition that are these the set of people we want to entrust the nation to ? But we have no choice because things are getting out of hand in the nation

Oh yes. The funny thing is they dont need to leave the ADC. They will stay and fight for the ownership of the party however, their candidates will be placed on on other platforms and then they support the campaigns and urge their supporters to vote for their candidates. PRP is on considerations anyway. This is not certain yet but its the most likely option.

See, point blank, they just need to put OBI and KWANKANSO on any platform. The guy go sell. Thats the beauty of being marketable.

Tinubu again? ADC is already a house of commotion. This is exactly what happened in PDP back then, and it's the same set of politicians now gathered in ADC. Nigerians shouldn't forget so quickly.

For how long will the opposition continue leaving their party?

Left PDP for Wike and left LP for Lamidi Apapa. What do you expect to happen in another party that they move to?

The FCT minister who builds houses for judges instead of paying teachers salaries has completely destroyed our judiciary. Completely and totally destroyed it.

What can we do as citizens to save our democracy and our country from this corrupt and evil government huh

Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.

In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.

The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.

Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.

“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”

He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.

“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”
