A 93 year old man has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intensify a nationwide crackdown on dr¥g cartels and their collaborators.

In Abia State, the nonagenarian identified as Pa Friday Ahukanna Chigbu was arrested at his residence in Umuagbaigba, Amavo Nkwogu village, Osisioma LGA on April 7, 2026. 

A search of his home led to the recovery of 7.7 kilograms of sk¥nk, a strain of c@nnabis.

The suspect reportedly said he once worked as a truck pusher before learning painting and tiling, but later ventured into the drug trade over a year ago.

He also claimed he had been sm@king sk¥nk since 1959 before turning it into a business.

93. This one wants to die in prison. He has eight to nine years of life remaining. I would say free him, but he needs to learn consequences exist. Many of you children’s parents weren’t born when he started smoking the substance.
