Sterling na proven winner nah. Multiple EPL titles. Gallagher is a nobody. Spurs actually have a world cup winner there. Making Gallagher highest paid made some of those players to lose interest. No be me ooo. You know say this football thing nah like job to some. Let's say you dey company and doing well and getting paid well. Another person you're better than at that same job comes in and earns more than you. Even if it's just fractions, it can lead to demotovation. I think Gallagher joining them and earning more than everyone is part of the reason they're playing without commitment.

Nah just my theory and I expect Van Der Ven or one of the senior spuds players to reflect on this in their new team next summer.
