Omo! Chelsea is a horrible team. This is the worst Chelsea team I have ever seen. They'll soon collect from ManU in the next game. Arsenal better watch it

Arsenal will still win the league. City still have Bournemouth and Aston Villa to play against, they'll surely drop points. Whereas, after the Arsenal vs City clash, the only tough game for Arsenal is Newcastle.
Moreover, Arsenal is already one step in the UCL final already, defeated Bayern earlier this season and will do it again 💪
Arsenal all the way 🏆💯
I get the optimism, but this is exactly where Arsenal fans need to be careful not to get carried away.

First, you’re talking like Manchester City are just going to casually drop points against teams like AFC Bournemouth and Aston Villa — that’s a risky assumption. This is City we’re talking about… when the pressure is highest, that’s when they usually go into that ruthless “win every game” mode.

And about Arsenal’s run-in being “easy” — there’s no such thing at this stage of the season. Newcastle United away is not just “one tough game,” that’s a proper test. Plus, even the so-called smaller teams become dangerous when they’re fighting for survival or trying to spoil the title race.

As for the UCL talk… beating Bayern Munich once doesn’t mean you’ll just do it again like it’s routine. Champions League football is a different beast entirely — experience matters, and Arsenal are still growing at that level.

Honestly, Arsenal are in a strong position, no doubt. But writing off City this early? That’s how fans set themselves up for heartbreak. This title race is going down to the wire.

If they fail to get a result against city next weekend, fans should boycott all their remaining matches. The fans want this EPL trophy more than the players ,the coach and board. The fans don't deserve this yearly disappointment. If they bottle the league again this season, alot of fans will stop supporting the club, they've lost their bragging right and rival fans will mock us for ages .

I hear you, and normally that kind of continuity should count for something—but football doesn’t always reward patience the way we expect.

Five years under Mikel Arteta and three years of “almost there” should mean they’re ready, no doubt. But sometimes being close for too long actually builds pressure instead of confidence. It becomes less about growth and more about “what if we bottle it again?”

Look at it this way—this is the stage where mentality separates good teams from champions. It’s not just about understanding the system anymore, it’s about handling the moment. That’s where teams like Manchester City have the edge—they’ve been here, done it, and know how to finish strong without panicking.

Arsenal have improved massively, no question. But improvement and winning the title are two different levels. Until they prove they can cross that final line under pressure, the “we’ve been building for years” argument only goes so far.

So yeah, they’re close—but in this league, close isn’t always enough.
TempleHouse:
But the team has been together for Five years under Arteta and coming closer for three years is enough to push them above the line ‼️

1 win in 7 for Chelsea
Arsenal wins the 6 matches
City wins the remaining 7 matches it would boil down to goal difference
City Pilling the pressure on arsenal.
How things changed very quickly ‼️
It was a nine points gap a few days ago and by next week it's very likely to be just three points.

Arsenal's defeat is truly a "Punch 👊 on the face"

I hear the frustration, I really do… but calling for fans to boycott us? That one cuts deep.

The players, they feel this just as much as you do—maybe even more. They’re the ones in training every day, pushing our bodies, carrying the pressure of every missed chance, every dropped point. You think they don’t want that trophy? You think they’re comfortable coming second or falling short? No chance.

Football isn’t that simple. You can give everything and still come up against a team in top form, like City, and things don’t go your way. That doesn’t mean players don’t care—it means the margins at this level are brutal.

What they need from you right now isn’t silence or boycotts… it’s backing. When things get tough, that’s when the real supporters show up. The same fans we celebrate with when we win—we need you even more when it’s not going perfectly.

They’re fighting till the end, no matter what. Don’t give up on Arsenal now.

If you look at the table well, City presently are 6 points behind with number of tough matches coming up. And like you said, these small teams are no easy feat for anybody. Villa needs European competition and Bournemouth are on a winning streak, so you see there's no how city won't drop points. Rosenoir's fear cost him this game. To me, City were not spectacular or special at all, Rosenoir was just incapable.

As a neutral looking at it objectively, I think that analysis is a bit too emotional and not grounded in how title races actually play out.

First, a 6-point gap with games in hand and that stage of the season is nothing in modern football. Momentum swings fast, especially when you’re talking about a side like Manchester City that has been built to handle pressure runs better than almost anyone in Europe.

Yes, teams like Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth can make life difficult — nobody is denying that. But assuming “they will definitely drop points” is where fans often get it wrong. In reality, these so-called smaller teams are inconsistent in consistency themselves. One week they look unstoppable, the next they drop points in games you’d expect them to control.

On the idea that City were “not special,” I disagree. Good teams don’t have to be spectacular every match — they have to be efficient. City are masters at managing games, controlling phases, and winning even when they’re not at their flashy best.

And with respect to Liam Rosenior, I don’t think it’s fair to reduce it to fear costing the game. Sometimes it’s just structural gaps, squad depth differences, or the opponent executing their plan better. Calling it fear simplifies a very tactical game too much.

At this stage of a title race, it’s not about who looks better on the day — it’s about who accumulates points under pressure. And City have proven repeatedly they know how to do exactly that.

And Arsenal go shock them. Arsenal go beat Sporting again and morale go high. Arsenal suppose beat this City with their shaky defence. City get more tough games compared to Arsenal, these small teams see no dey smile for anybody

I get your fear, but this is exactly where people overrate Manchester City and underrate Arsenal.

Yes, City look scary—this is classic Pep Guardiola second-half-of-the-season mode. They go into machine mode, no emotions, just win after win. But here’s the real counterpoint:

Arsenal are not that same “panic team” anymore.

This season, they’ve shown:

More control in tight games

Better game management when leading

Defensive discipline even under pressure

The old Arsenal would slip after one bad result. This one? They respond.

Also, don’t forget—pressure is different now:

City are chasing → they must be perfect

Arsenal are leading → they can manage games smarter

That “a draw is dangerous” mindset is actually where fans get it wrong. Titles are often won with ugly draws. You don’t need to win every match—you just need to not collapse.

And here’s the biggest reality: City’s run-in always looks inevitable… until one random 1-1 or 0-0 shows up. It always happens at least once.

So instead of panic:

If Arsenal win → control stays firmly with them

If they draw → still alive, still leading (depending on gap)

Only real danger → back-to-back poor results

City are dangerous, no doubt. But this Arsenal side has grown past the stage of “one mistake = total collapse.”

This title race? It’s not about perfection.
It’s about composure.

And right now, Arsenal actually look like they’ve learned that lesson.
Arsenal next opponent is Man city at Ethad Stadium, think about that.
