Why would you want to tweak Airtel router IMEI coz of 130gb when Airtel has so much better offers. Sounds counterintuitive to me.

I don't use that much data and you have no idea how much it costs

How did you unlock your X25pro?

The ZLT X25pro can be unlocked, but the x25 cannot be unlocked only the pro.

I did a subscription for MTN router and it doesn't work on the airtel router so I am told that if I can get a device to change the IMEI to that of an MTN router then the subscription will work so I did some search online and found that some routers have AT command where IMEI can be changed but mine does not so I am in dire need of how to change the IMEI of my airtel router

what kind of Airtel router do you use?

I use an unlocked X25pro and all data plans and bundles work with it, MTN, Airtel, Glo, Spectranet, all of them. And I’ve tried all.

A guy from Nairaland did it.....I came across his video on YouTube and decided to give it a try. He charges a fee for it

same guy did mine, he connects to your PC remotely to unlock it.

Yes.....the guy is good. I think he developed the software itself. His nickname now appears on the device software info page after the unlock

yeah, I think he flashed a custom made firmware into the x25pro. Cos I was on my laptop screen looking at how the cursor was moving and operating my system without me touching anything.

The dude really made a lot of money from that actually cos he unlocked a lot of the router, cos the comments on his YouTube page attest to it.

I can't use ODU SIM to access internet on my ZLT x25 pro smart box.It used to work untill this afternoon. Anyone else facing the same challenge?

it's probably from your Sim cos I also use x25pro router for my ODU own and it's still working.

And i think na that software end up breaking my device The MTN 5G X20 it's soft brick for over a year now

That's sad sha. I think it is even better to have a universal router than purchasing this ISP-locked gadgets.

I believe normal sims should work in the universal router if one subscribes for router plans, right?

You cannot sub router plans in normal sims.

Purchasing a universal router is good but you need to confirm it can work with router plans. Perhaps your best bet is to buy X30 from wahab since it is touted as being easy to manipulate, like changing the IMEI to desired something that is sure to work with your current sub.

Most universal routers, out of the box, will only work with normal sim subs and not broadband subs. You can still buy X25 pro and have it tweaked to work with router plans. Just do your due diligence before buying any of them.

I think x25pro should be amongst the first version that Airtel released when they unveiled their 5g unlimited plans around 2023. I got mine then. Since then, they've released many other versions

They were selling X25 when MTN was selling ZTE MC801A. MTN also joined in the sale of X25.

Tozed Kangwei then made a pro version of the device. X25 was the base model.

I barely have problems with streaming on my end

These few days I have streamed seamlessly, including United - Leeds tonight with no problems.

It works fine in the ODU but not on the x25pro

Mine works when inserted in the ODU and doesn't it it is in x25pro
