1. Israel is under approved disobedience to God.

Many people who criticise Christians for supporting Israel quickly point out that Israel is not a Christian country, as though that information is meant to jolt Christians into the reality that Israel isn't worthy of the support. In reality, what they are trying to do is to leave the Jewish nation isolated of any support so that it'd be easy for Islamic nations in the middle East to finish Israel off.

Now, the Bible teaches that Israel’s current spiritual blindness is not permanent but part of God’s redemptive plan. According to the Apostle Paul, a “hardening” has come upon Israel so that the message of salvation would spread to the Gentiles. This does not mean God has rejected the Jewish people; rather, their present unbelief allows the gospel to reach the nations, and ultimately God intends to show mercy to both Jews and Gentiles.

2. Israel's Disobedience Benefits The Gentiles

First, the 'disobedience' of Israel led to the death of Jesus, which was the best thing that could have happened to mankind.

The Bible explains that Israel’s disobedience or spiritual hardening temporarily opened the door for God’s mercy to reach the rest of the world. Through their rejection of Jesus, the message of salvation spread beyond Israel to the Gentiles, allowing all nations to receive the gospel.

As Christians, we understand that if Jews had accepted Jesus completely, we will never have had the opportunity to receive Christ ourselves. Therefore, in the Wisdom of God, Christ made it so that the gentiles will come in first before the jew.

3. Israel is critical to end times.

There are seven key prophecies that must be achieved before Christ returns to Earth.

A. The regathering of Israel to their Land. Ezekiel 26:4, (Fulfilled in 1948)
B. The Valley of Dry Bones (National Restoration) . Ezekiel 37:1-14 (Arguably Fulfilled.)
C. Nations gathering against Israel. Ez: 38-39
D. Jerusalem at the center of global conflict Zech 14:7
E. Israel recognising the Messiah. Zech 12
F. Fullness of Gentiles and Israel Salvation Rom11:35-36
G. Messiah returning to Jerusalem Zech 14:4

4. Christians Are Spiritual Jews.

Many Christians support Israel because the Bible teaches that believers in Christ become spiritually connected to the people and promises of Israel. Through faith, Gentile believers are considered part of God’s covenant family and share in the spiritual heritage that begins with Israel.

The Bible explained that believers are “grafted in” to the spiritual olive tree of Israel (Romans 11:17–18). This means believers in christ also share in the same heritage with the descendants of Abraham. Selah.

Do you know that even Islam was described as one of the many heretic sects of Chrisitianity? Yes! John of Damascus( 675 A.D. - 749 A.D.) in his writing, Heresies in Epitome: How They Began and Whence They Drew Their Origin described Islam as a heretical sect that came from those he referred to as Ishmaelites. 😒

If you take a survey of all over 46000 Christians sects, you will find that they all claim to adhere to the teachings contained in the Bible, even though 100% of them do not. 😒😒😒
