grin grin grin grin One drop of oil will not leave iran to any country. CENTCOM have commenced a blockade of only ships going and coming from iran. Other ships can pass but only iran. Iran have lost the Hormuz leverage they once had or wish to have.

Now its over for democrat and iran.
This is what we call checkmate in chess grin.

Hormuz is block, hormuz is block. Iran is now a world power to the dustbin thread. Iran and Hormuz is finally over. Iran should better come up with something else because the Hormuz is no longer what their supporters want to hear grin but real military strength. Because i want to laugh really hard at head slammers and pro Iranian gringringrin

If them born Iranian well they should come to the open sea to confront the U.S navel. I want to check something.

This is a total blockage on iran.
If China sends their ship to Iran to collect oil, will the Americans block them?😁

U are wrong

Suez and Panama canals are man-made (artificial) waterways, whereas the Strait of Hormuz is a natural strait.

Under international maritime law (UNCLOS), the rules for these two types of passages are entirely different:
Quote the rules here
I'm waiting
Don't forget that the Turks also toll the Bosphorus Strait
Is that man-made too?

''SMALL CHALLENGE''?

OVER 7,000 TARGETS BOMBED IN IRAN BY USA AND ISRAEL, PLUS 5,000 CIVILIANS SLAUGHTERED IN AN UNPROVOKED, ILLEGAL INVASION IN VIOLATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW, IS WHAT YOU CALL ''A SMALL CHALLENGE''.

IF IRAN HAD WOKE UP ONE MORNING AND BOMBED 5,000 AMERICAN CIVILIANS TO SMITHEREENS, INCINERATING THEM IN THEIR HOMES, WOULD YOU CONSIDER IT ''A SMALL CHALLENGE'' FROM AMERICA'S PERSPECTIVE?

GOD WILL SHOW YOU PEOPLE OF THIS WICKED WORLD THAT HE LOVES ALL HIS CHILDREN EQUALLY, WITH NONE MORE WORTHY THAN THE OTHER.

AND UNTIL YOU LEARN THIS FACT, THE WORLD WILL KNOW NO PEACE.
The question you should ask is are they innocent too?

I don't have any business with an ignorant fellow who is too lazy to Google the legal status of the strait of Hormuz and compare it with Panama and Suez canal.
Since you choose to be ignorant, who am I to force you to be enlightened?

Spare me the God rhetoric. God does not stand behind deceits too.
Again I repeat, are they fully innocent?

The rift is with America, but the sending missiles to UAE, BAHRAIN, SAUDI ARABIA, etc. Is it not people they going to kill there? Let them face America and Donald. Did they create the strait of hormuz? The earth is the Lord's and its fullness thereof. Why are they punishing the rest of the world. They should confront America and Israel, not distrupt economies just to get to America and Israel.

You're a clown 🤡 who doesn't want to learn
The Strait of Hormuz has never been and will never be an international waterway
International law only applies to international waterways and water bodies

Iran cannot charge tolls but Egypt can charge tolls in Suez and Panama can charge tolls with the Panama canal abi?
Please make it make sense or should we go to court?

Gotocourt:
The legal status of tolling in the Strait of Hormuz is complex and involves several international legal frameworks:
Under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), coastal states cannot demand payment for passage through straits, including the Strait of Hormuz, simply for permission to transit.

Iran has proposed legislation to impose tolls on vessels passing through the strait, which would require ships to obtain permits and licenses, effectively creating a controlled transit system.

The proposed tolls could be as high as $2 million per ship, with revenue intended for rebuilding Iran following recent military actions.

However, the legality of such tolls is still under scrutiny, as UNCLOS explicitly prohibits charging fees for passage unless specific services are provided.

This situation raises significant questions about the legality and implications of tolling in a vital global shipping route.

yes even Nigeria export as well does not pass through the route since u deny Nigeria oil import does not com through such route, so when you sold out oil na for gallon u carry it to go deliver to Asia buyers as well , Nigeria route does not only about trans atlantic means, go get your self informed

😂 Oga Nigeria can decide not to use dollar anymore. The problem is, you always want to buy things from them so they would decide what currency you will pay them. There are deals Nigeria did with China with the Chinese currency too. That's partly how you make your currency valuable
Unfortunately, your country Nigeria does not have that sovereignty to make such a decision. Your financial reserve is in the US. You must sell your oil in USD, even to Dangote .

Just to school you a little. If you want to send $100 from your GTBank in Lagos to Citibank in Lagos, that money will go to USA and back through SWIFT. And it make take a little more than 24hrs with additional SWIFT charges.

I guess I have cured some ignorance today!

Please always verify the source of your information. Don't bring local road side analysis to the public. Looking back at 1 October, 2024 naira for crude deal between the FG and Dangote would have updated your knowledge but no, you wouldn't.

For the talk of sovereignty of Nigeria and whether we eligible to trade internationally with our local currency, oga use Chat GPT or other AI tools, they'll help educate you. Google is your friend but you won't use it. Haba

I'm tired .. won't reply your chat anymore

Please learn to stick to issues. You said most of our international trade come through the strait of Hormuz and I said that's not true. I only pointed out the error in that statement. Our major maritime route is the Atlantic ocean and not the strait of hormuz. I didn't say we don't have need for strait of Hormuz.
Nevertheless, If no be say our government mumu too much, nothing go make fuel jump from 850 to 1,400 due to disruptions in that route.

Really? Israel tried to handle Iran alone last year June but after receiving devastating blows from Iran it had to run to America to help her secure a ceasefire.

If Israel could handle Iran alone Netanyahu would not have made several trip to the US since last year and up to this year lobbying Trump to help Israel start another war with Iran. In the war US is the horse while Israel is just a cat riding on the back of the horse and now that the horse itself is finding it difficult to subdue Iran it needed a ceasefire and asked the cat (Israel) to get down.

Israel the cat had no option than to step down cause it was only using the horse to cross bridges and rugged terrain it couldn't cross alone.
Even last year too, Trump FORCED Netanyahu to accept the ceasefire

Tolls are being charged at the Panama and Suez canals
Hormuz shouldn't be different
It just needs a legal framework
Did Iran design & construct the Strait of Hormuz? They want to reap from where they did not sow. Tolling the Strait is illegal & a call for war. The US has the right to do whatsoever it can to ensure Iran doesn't hinder the free transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz to & from the Persian Gulf.
