If Tinubu like, make him pay street destitutes, Nigerians will not be fooled. Transactional governance will be stopped, and this man and his fellow kakistocrats will be removed from power and face legal prosecution.

Nigerians living below poverty line..how much is he even paying resident doctors, compare the amount with what resident doctors earn in South Africa, doctors in Nigeria are just doing slave labour. At $1 dollar for 1400 Naira, the so called payment is totally worthless. Tinubu must Go.
You are right. If they tell you how much they are celebrating you will shake your head.
Since August.
And People have been working since then.

Shame!

These are incorrect. Importing rice from Asia, which depletes your foreign reserves and destroys local agriculture and farmers, is a terrible economic policy. The only gain is fooling people like you into believing that Eldorado is here. Nigeria's inflation rate is still between 22 and 25 percent, despite Wale Edun's lies about it being 15.5 percent. This is still an indicator of an economy in dire straits.

ASUU, can I laugh?. That crime syndicate is being threatened and pacified with bribes so that they don't cause any trouble. You have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. Collect your 30k in peace and make the most out of your half-education.
You should enjoy consoling yourself latching onto straws knowing your bubble will definitely burst......the WB,IMF and other reputable international institutions already confirmed nigeria's inflation rates and all figures are in unison, i wonder where you get your figures from.

If being friends with ASUU is what will get the universities to run smoothly and students can get to do the business they are there for on time how's that a bad thing.

Throughout buhari,we were dependent on Local rice and we still haven't been able to be self sufficient in rice production instead prices were hitting the roofs with billions down the drain ,nigerains were at the mercy of shylock middle men.....you dont love Nigerians whuch was made obvious by your show of joy when prices were hitting 6 digits and making it a major campaign line, you are only angry that you are running out if campaign lines with the things that directly affects the common man.

I think the verdict of Nigerians in January will validate or cancel our positions. What is already clear is that the incumbent will do everything to steal the election, but we are ready for the inevitable fisticuffs.

At best, you are being very economical with the truth, or perhaps ignorant, or both.

Several multinational corporations and companies have exited or scaled back their operations in Nigeria since Ahmed Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023. These departures are primarily driven by economic challenges, including foreign exchange scarcity, devaluation of the naira, and high operating costs.

Here is a list of companies that have left, scaled down, or announced plans to exit, based on reports from 2023–2024:

Procter & Gamble (P&G): The US consumer goods giant announced it would end manufacturing operations in Nigeria, transitioning to an import-only model, citing the difficulty of doing business.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria PLC (GSK): A major pharmaceutical firm that announced its exit in late 2023 after decades of operation, shifting to a third-party distribution model.

Unilever Nigeria PLC: Stopped manufacturing its home care and skin-cleansing brands, scaling back on its product portfolio to focus on faster-moving goods.

Sanofi-Aventis: A pharmaceutical company that announced it would exit its direct operations and move to a third-party model.
Equinor: The Norwegian energy corporation sold its 20.21% stake in the Agbami oil field and exited the country.

Bolt Food: The food delivery arm of the ride-hailing company exited the Nigerian market in December 2023, citing the need to streamline resources.

Jumia Food: Discontinued its food delivery service to focus on its core e-commerce and logistics business.

Microsoft Nigeria: Announced the closure of its African Development Centre (ADC) in Lagos, though some reports clarified it was a "realigning of roles" rather than a complete departure from the market.

Kimberly-Clark: The manufacturer of Huggies diapers announced it would stop manufacturing in Nigeria to focus on importing.

Guinness Nigeria PLC: Announced plans to sell its controlling stake to Singaporean conglomerate Tolaram Group, marking a major restructuring of its footprint in 2024.

Key Factors Cited for Departure

Foreign Exchange (FX) Scarcity: Companies have struggled to access foreign currency to import raw materials or repatriate profits.

Naira Devaluation: The sharp decline in the Naira (dropping from roughly N462 to over N1,500 per USD) has wiped out profit margins for many multinationals.

High Operating Costs: Increased costs for energy, logistics, and poor infrastructure have made local production unprofitable.

I will need to check whether PZ Cussons is still operational in the country. These are big players who weathered the Buhari years but had to leave because of Tinubu's mismanagement of the economy.

The worst thing is that we don't have clear information on how our national budget is being spent since this opaque government came to power. All they have done is manipulate figures. While this may suffice for a while for the domestic audience, it will not hide the harsh realities that Nigerians are currently experiencing.

As we speak, we are told that the 2025 budget is non-performing, as is 2024. Really?.

Do I need to remind you that this president has borrowed more than the previous three presidents combined in less than three years, despite the removal of subsidies?. If Tinubu's successor refuses to probe and prosecute him, we, the people, will take to the streets until that is achieved.

You can't cheat Peter to pay Paul; perhaps it's because Paul has more leverage to disgrace you than Peter does. There are millions of people suffering in Nigeria. All they ask for is equitable treatment. No person or profession is more honorable than another.
