A lot of you are just ridiculously dumb. You have everything right at your fingertips and still choose to be ignorant.

The aim of the war for Russia was never to take Kiev. It was to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO and thereby allowing USA and NATO forces to build military bases in Ukraine.

The war in Iran has just made more people understand Russia's concerns more with how USA used bases in neighboring Arab countries to attack Iran.

Russia can drag this out forever, it doesn't cost them much. They are doing the barest minimum. Zelensky also doesn't want it to end, it's a money making scheme for him and he can suspend elections and remain president for as long as possible citing the war as an excuse.
