What can other countries buy currently with their highest denomination

See, you opposition should stop this hatred arguments with no meaning.

The global war that have been going on for years is it only Nigeria that's affected?

Average daily minimum wage in Ghana is 21GHC but barbing alone on average saloon is 50GHC. Average restaurant with decent meal, you will have 150GHC
Who is talking about Ghana.? We are talking about Nigeria. Besides, Ghana economy is far better than that of Nigeria.

I am.begging both APC and PDP to take us back to when one naira was one dollar and a liter of fuel was 15 Kobo and the prrsdiential salary was 20000 naira monthly
Yes, but the APC being the incumbent, and the current weapon fashioned against Nigeria, they should drop us where PDP, left off, then we will drag PDP to drop us where they picked us from.

But APC said $1 - $216 was not okay how come it is okay now with $1 - ₦1345?

1000 was a lot before now, it won't even get you a liter of fuel anymore. Good old days a thousand naira fuel will get me 6 liters of fuel

Just a few years ago, not decades ago, no no, your N1,000 note could buy you so many things. Many loaves of bread, many liters of petrol, plates of beans/bread/stew/egg...

APC came and LEGENDHERO and the likes told us that we were living a fake life in NIgeria, that GEJ was a kindergarten president...

So now what can you N1,000 buy you?

Can it buy a full loaf of bread?

Can it buy you 1 liter of petrol?

Can it buy you a meal at Chicken Republic?

What can you buy with your N1,000 now?
You can buy kulikuli, two bags of sachet water, 1 plate of swallow food with one piece of small meat.
The Nigeria economy is in shambles
If you hold 1000 Ghanian cedis, you are holding a lot of money (when converted to Naira). The same goes for Benin Cefa.
1000 pounds in the UK is a lot of money. In the US, I learnt 1000 US dollars is not meant for domestic consumption but for fiscal use. That it is to show you that a thousand US dollar carries weight. But in Nigeria, our currency has been bastardized. A thousand Naira is valueless.

N1000 can cut hair, it can buy bread and some other things.
That means you are patronising road side barbers where you can get infected
Also the bread must be a poor quality loaf and the other things you are referring to

We should have N5000 and N10,000 note.

And for those who say it will cause inflation, that's false. Oya when we didn't have it, did it stop inflation of the last 10 years since 2015?

Most of our inflation has been exchange rate based because we import too much stuff.

It cannot even spaghetti or a family size loaf 🍞 of bread.
At most it will get you 4 agbado by the roadside.

Some years ago with 1kay we used to cook full spaghetti with all the bells and whistles and every orishirishi (saki, ponmo, ogunfe, brokoto).

Aye ti dori kodo, amono tete mabo 🤲🏼

Well, I'm not an advocate for this government. In fact I believe they have done terribly and Tinubu should be voted out. But I'm currently in Sierra Leone. A liter of fuel is 35 Leones, and 1 Leone is N60. They redenominated their currency like Ghana as 1 Leone was formally 1000 old Leones. Their people still talk in thousands as they are getting used to the new currency.

35 Leones is N2100. If fuel ever gets to N2100 in Naija, I'm sure we'll riot.

A tomato 🍅 costs 10 Leones. That's N600. I'm not saying a basket or bowl or plate. I mean one Tomato. Same with the onions we sell in Naija. Things are crazily expensive.

You buy 10gb of Data from Orange network for 200 Leones. That's N12,000. My first buy of 20gb was N24,000, 400 Leones. That's crazy as N18,000 will buy you 75gb of Mtn data. The 20gb lasted a week.

So believe me, when Tinubu says we are better of than most African countries, he actually means it. I'm not praising him as I believe that's not an excuse. We dey enjoy small for Naija o but we can do better.

Their highest currency is 20 Leones. It can buy 2 Tomatoes.

Late Haruna Ishola once said he can marry a beautiful woman with N1000 Naira ‼️

That was early 1970: and the exchange rate was around $1 to 85K

Literally N1000 then is around a Million Naira now

Did you read the person's statement I replied at all?

Or you just want to be irrational in your response?

Didn't he compare the purchasing power of the highest denomination of Ghana currency with that of Nigeria and claimed they were the same?

Which I showed him the truth...

Are you people actually like this or just acting to be like this?

Recharge card.
Paracetamol
Pen and pencil
Notebook
USB cable
Coca Cola(50cl) X 2
Fruit(Mango/Orange/Pineapple/Zobo/Pawpaw)

For all those lamenting endlessly about N1,000 not getting you much, you should be fighting fod the right production environmwnt so you can produce what can easily give you N1,000 and profit from the uselessness of the Naira value.
