Since this evening, have seen 2 videos of people tearing apart their powerBanks and showing how most of the supposed lithium cells are actually stuffed with sand. How true / real are those please ? |

seepanel:Hello Seepanel's, I am considering if I can buy a nexus inverter freezer like yours though 150 litres. Does it retain ice for long as they claimed? In fact how is the general performance of your freezer so far, is it something you can recommend for someone, what is the down side of the freezer? I really need a review from users before embarking on this purchase. Thank you. |

Gshems:Get a 6kva Growatt inverter so you can overpanel in the future. Get LVTOPSUN 5KWH or any of Valto, Reed or Deriy Battery |

Good morning all please do we have an inverter that can work with any battery voltage (12,24,36...) just like a charge controller that auto detects battery voltage if yes kindly name some thank you |

dollarnaira:but don't blame everyOne who buys 30,000mah for 8,000 naira as not all understands the technology. You first need understand something to know if you being CHEATed on or not. Hopefully, they ain't doing such miracle / magic in a lot of these beautifully looking Lithium battery boxes on wheels. Na one of the reasons I say to only go Lithium if you TRUST your source ELSE remain with leadAcid batteries. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 11:13pm On Apr 16 |
The rains are Coming. Solar inverters, especially hybrid inverters not GROUNDed are more at risk of being fried. When we talk, Una go think say na our pockets we dey fight for. Properly Earthing your Solar setUp might not be 100% effective BUT goes a long way (about 80% or more) to safe guarding your investment. if possible, ground your solar panels join. It's even much more important for those of una with over 200Vdc on top una roofs Good Evening |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by SourYoghurt: 7:51am On Apr 17 |
is 24v system that bad, everyone seems to promote 48v ![]() |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:38am On Apr 17*. Modified: 10:14am On Apr 17 |
SourYoghurt:it's not bad. Just not as good as 48v system. Same way a 12v system ain't that bad; just not as good as 24v system. Same way a 48v system ain't that bad, just not as good as a 96v system, and so on. It mostly depends on your kind of load. If running AirConditioners, and other high inductive loads, then if you care for efficiency and long term health of your batteries, your minimum should be 48v system and above. For simple loads, 12v is good enough. Followed by 24v. Then there are other not so obvious things such as, cost of breakers, wires, fuses, etc. The higher the voltage of the system, the cheaper they get. For example, wires are priced by thickNess and if you needed 16mm on 12v, for 24v, you might need 10m or less and for 48v, you probably need just 6mm. Same with other things. Your batteries also runs cooler hence have many more years to serve you. Of course if using solar panels, the higher thhe voltage, the hiigher is total wattage you could run. Most 12v system can't run beyond 700w to 800w but 24v system can ruun approximately 1,600w while 36v system would allow about 2,400w and 48v system would run at least 3,200w and so on Most rarely understand until they've been there. |
