I doubt any appeal would be successful. It was evident the turkiye gov were building am athletics squadron through recruitment. If she had lived in turkiye and represented them at underage competitions prior it would have been different

The NSC petitioned World Athletics to block the switch, claiming that she announced her decision after receiving a training grant for the year from the commission.
You are correct, it will surely affect her career because those officials will surely mess her up now

On the other hand the AFN is the most useless federation in Nigeria, they cant even attract nigerian athletes in the diaspora.

Compare it with the Nff and Nbbf who have over the last decade harvested lots of foreign grown Nigerian athletes for football and basketball.
