Genuine Question From A Concerned Nigerian- Is Tinubu Physically Fit To Continue by Nicklee(op): 1:45am On Apr 17
Ok. Let's talk frankly as truly concerned Nigerians.

I don't live in Nigeria so didn't vote but I supported Buhari (was just tired of PDP at the time) and supported Tinubu cos though I'm a Christian, his Muslim-Muslim to let move convinced me he was the right man for the job. I have always thought Nigeria needs strong leaders especially those with balls of steel to make the difficult calls we frankly need to get out of the mess we are in as a corrupt country. So, Buhari was supposed to be the anti-corruption white knight - failed. Tinubu was supposed to come with the capacity to make tough decisions for the country and not be swayed by emotions. So far, he is doing just that.

But...

In recent months, and again just this afternoon, every time I listen to him, I get the sense he is no longer physically (and somewhat mentally) fit. Again, I've been mostly a supporter of his, primarily because of the tough calls which I think are good for the economy in the long run. However, is he really in the right state of health to continue as President?

I'm raising this question out of genuine apolitical concern. For me, it is Nigeria first and foremost. Anything to fix this country, I'm all in. And I'm not one to be behoven to sentimens, so keep your emotions in check.

Without cursing, abusing, gaslighting each other, let's talk about this.

In the interest of Nigeria, is Tinubu healthy enough to continue as President. Should he pick/support a younger, healthier but equally bold and radical person like him to take over? I'm almost in the YES, he should camp right now.

Wait till you read comments like, even if it is Tinubu's corpse, we will vote for him.

In our country, we love to live in lies. I had said yesterday that watching Atiku talk to us without a speech, without assistants and without a prerecorded interview tells me a lot about how old Atiku really is. Atiku is 79, Tinubu is 74. Atiku was able to answer questions about what he did in the past and policy questions.
SixSeven:
I was surprised Atiku could answer questions live on air without support or any assistance from town hall candidates. Shame on Nigerian media who have accepted APC style where the Presidents don't bother about answering questions. They put spokesmen to be talking to us like we voted those ones.
We have someone in power who is too proud to talk to the press. Don't forget that old people tend to get irritated easily so questions can reveal quickly their personality. Both of them, Atiku and Tinubu will need at least 1 week rest if they travel all around as president especially at that age. When Obasanjo was president in 1999, he was 62. By the time he left, he was 70. The job of the Presidency is tasking.

You say
For me, it is Nigeria first and foremost. Anything to fix this country, I'm all in. And I'm not one to be behoven to sentimens, so keep your emotions in check.
A genuine question I want to ask you. Nigerians will only answer you based on sentiments about the question on health even when the answer is glaring in their eyes but sycophants love to gaslight. My question is, do you think, from the 3 years of this President that he is about
A. Country first before self or
B. Self above country?

Remember this song below? Tinubu was clearly NOT FIT AT ALL to do his first term. Yet, somehow we're now talking of him running in 2031 for a third term!

That's how Buhari too was propped up till he completed 8 years
It does not mean his health can carry the rigors of the office
You guys should stop making it sound as if sitting in office to complete a term means fears about the health of the president are unfounded
Even watching him on tweeter today, I couldn't help but notice his hands are still shaky

Let's us see your own father to do a comparison. Even if he is going to seat on wheelchair or sleep in an ambulance, he will do his 2nd term cheesy

At this point in this country, if you still haven't admitted to yourself that you are missing Buhari, then you're most definitely deluding yourself.
