And later the citizens will sit down and wail that government is being run or controlled by a clique or is working in the interest of a cabal they call it. This is how it starts. 'Consultations' and final decision making by a few then to present to the many who have no choice but to accept it.

The general consensus is that the many can't think for themselves. They need to be 'led' to make the right choice in a supposedly adult democracy of 27 years old.

And when you cannot start with the many, build your leadership on them, grassroots up, when the time of governance comes, as we have seen even at the national level, their demands will be secondary, from policies, programs, budgets and projects. It is the few that will still decide all that.

In the history of Lagos State, no deputy governor has ever emerged as a governorship candidate and more so he’s a very strong contender for the seat. I don’t think Ambode stands a chance.

Do you mean in Lagos state or all over Nigeria, if all over Nigeria you lie, go and do your research well. Let me school you small on some states, Kano state Kwankwanso and Ganduje was deputy with him till the end, Delta State Okowa and Patrick was deputy till the end, and Akwa Ibom Akpabio and Nsima served as his deputy for 8yrs. So next time come with clear facts.
