I find it weird to celebrate tarred roads

A project worth billions with billions stolen from it and takes forever to complete.

This same road span, China will construct it in 4days.

In the history of Anambra, Soludo has been the very best. If in 5 years he's achieved all these, he deserves an accolade abeg.

I'm not even from the East but will always commend good performance by any political office holders and pls we expect to see more. This development must go round.

And if you're not happy with this just because you don't like the governor or because you just naturally hate good things, you obviously need some evaluation.

In all honesty, I love the kinds of news I'm see from the East these days. So, encourage them so they can do more.

Meanwhile, our South West governors, we are waiting o. In all fairness, Lagos is trying. We need more both from Lagos and the rest of the South West states. Ogun state especially, we need enough infrastructure. Ogun state is growing due to its proximity to the center of excellence. So, the infrastructure needs to grow.

That's really nice. I used to criticize him but transversing Anambra State in January, I could see the good works on road construction. The ride from Ekwulobia to Amawbia at night was amazing. I hope he continues with the dualization project from Nwa Agu to Nnewi and Ekwulobia - Umunze.

I dare say that even though Ngige pioneered major road constructions in Anambra, Soludo took it to a higher level. He is doing great things on intra-Anambra road network.

Meanwhile, he should cut back on the childish naming of everything "Solution". It is stupid

Building a closed gutter requires a central underground system of where the gutters would be channeled to.

you can only achieve that 100% before properties are erected. it is difficult where properties have already been erected and demolitions must occur if you want to achieve that.

Soludo is doing his best and must be given kudos.

There are cities all over the world, especially in Asia, including Japan, China, India, that lacked sidewalks and covered drains even as late as the 1990s. But go there today and it's a different story. They worked around the issue, and there were no mass demolitions of property.

Even LAGOS has renovated roads in residential areas and done the same.

So quit making excuses.

Pls Stop peddling falsehood online. How many millions of people can you deceive. From Amawbia to Agulu to Uga and from Agulu to Nnewi to Okija, there is no pedestrian walkway except this 2ft width at this section in Nnewi. The Soludo should have covered the drain and convert them to sidewalk. It's unsafe to pedestrians biko .... The u-turns are not enough which makes the roads prone to accidents due to errant drivers who drive against the traffic.

Just look at that road one more time. Imagine it with wide sidewalks on both sides, and drains covered.

Do you know you can go jogging and even walk 5 kilometres and back on that road without noticing?

Can you happily walk even 1km on that road as it is like that, without looking for okada or keke?

What about children? The elderly? The disabled?

Don't they deserve a nice wide sidewalk without caring about falling into a gutter, or getting run over because they are forced to walk on the tarred road?

It's because we ignore pedestrian infrastructure that everyone wants to own a car or use public transport for even the shortest trip.

Because we've made walking tantamount to 'suffering'.

Meanwhile walking is so healthy, and should be a pleasure!

Previously, most roads in Nnewi were in a deplorable state until Governor Soludo intervened with the construction of internal roads and dualization of major roads connecting Nnewi to other parts of the state.
