Alapereketu:Stop pretending young man, you're the same person. Immediately you noticed I've posted our chat on this platform, that's when you started abusing me, Chikenna. I know your tactics, I still insist you're the same person, anyone who transacts any form of business with you is doing it at their own risk, gaskiya. |

Hi everyone, I noticed a small mistake in my Letter of Explanation after preparing my application. In the LOE, I mentioned my marriage year as 2023 instead of 2024. However, my official documents (marriage certificate and profile) all show the correct year (2024). The LOE was only meant to clarify details because the certificate scan isn’t very clear. Has anyone experienced something similar, and is this likely to cause any issues? Thanks in advance. |

Hello Everyone, Please I need advise on the best steps to take in getting my Canada PR. I am currently in the pool with a CRS of 467. Highest qualification is MBA. 8 years of experience in banking. But I am thinking of how else to boost my chances since it’s been a while that a general draw was done and I really really need this PR. Can I apply under STEM category? I am just so confused right now and will appreciate any pointer in the right direction. Please help meeeee🙏🏾 |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ignnyte: 2:17pm On Apr 17 |
Amydah:To qualify for the STEM category-based draws, you must demonstrate at least six months of continuous work experience in one of the specific eligible occupations within the last three years. Since your primary background is in banking, you would typically need to show that your specific roles fall under the designated National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes for science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. I can provide you with an accurate guide and a detailed assessment to help you determine your eligibility or explore other ways to boost your CRS score. Given the current pause in general draws, looking into Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) or language proficiency improvements might also be strategic options for you. Please let me know if you would like to review the specific STEM requirements together to see how your experience aligns. |

Ignnyte:I'm not sure there's any category that requires less than 1 year experience in the last 3 years currently |

Please this is urgent. I just paid for police clearance form. The site didn’t request a fingerprint or facial verification from me. Is that normal? Secondly, it insisted on using the number of the sim on my NIN and I don’t currently have access to this number , though I provided an email, i hope i can still get notifications on my email. Lastly, how long does it take for it to be processed? Will there be extra documentations and demands? Did anyone receive information on their Email? |

saintv2:If I were you I'd raise a web form and correct this said letter of application, I'd attach a superseding letter of explanation merged with the wedding certificate, if you have evidence of printed invitation, anything you think is relevant you can add. I'm on Reddit and from all available evidence IRCC is moving funny this days . |

ColdHunter:Ma'am you'd benefit more by asking your questions openly no matter how ridiculous you think it is so that people with no financial incentive or stake in the matter can give you competent advice. Taking it offline on an anonymous site is asking for a world of trouble in my opinion. Regardless let me offer some rudimentary guide through the entire process using mine as a quick example. For the Federal Skilled Worker programme. You typically need a degree, at least a year experience that fits a National Occupational Classification basically a list of professions they're looking for whose duties which must largely match the duties you performed during your employment. For me I had a Master degree and previous employments, my last job I quit the month I started learning French full time, during the time I got my degree evaluated (literally a sheet of paper confirming your degree is equivalent to a Canadian one), I registered and took an English language test. After a year of learning French and a 2.5 Months exam prep, I wrote TCF (French IELTS for context) and thankfully passed. I got a reference from one of my previous employers where I worked for only 2 years, I used this because it matched largely with a NOC. I didn't include my other employers because some were over a decade, I was freelance for a while I found out documenting freelance work or self employment is not quite easy neither is it straightforward, the business must be registered, you must present evidence of full time work 1560 hrs a year, references from your client, sometimes audited financial statements of your company and tax documents. I found it easier to just roll with an employer. I waited to enter the pool because I was gathering documents, calculating how much is needed, selling property, documenting the sale, took a few trips to the land registry I got into the pool, got an ITA in a French draw barely 4 days after. I gathered all my documents, it's pretty straightforward the system provides a checklist of documents you require. Whenever there are extenuating circumstances or the documents don't tell the full story attach a letter of explanation. Pre-application Familiarise yourself with the process, YouTube, ChatGPT is great help. You'd be an expert in no time, it is impossible to subcontract this process. What you shouldn't do is pay for help, you're going to create a perverse incentive system where things are presented in an opaque, hard to understand manner to keep the gravy train moving. |

modskiller:Good say sir , prioritize the Healthcare Occupations category draws, as psychiatric nursing experience often qualifies for lower CRS cut-off scores. You must immediately begin yo ur Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and language testing to enter the Express Entry pool while simultaneously starting the NNAS verification for your professional license. Since psychiatric nursing is a distinct profession in Western Canada, also, you should specifically target provinces like British Columbia or Alberta for the best career alignment and provincial nomination opportunities. I sent you a pm |

Hello Fam, Please i need your advice, This is my TCF result CO - 524, CE - 446, EE - 9, EO - 10, and this is my IELTS result L 7.5, S 7, W7, R 6.5. With these results can i create an express entry profile for the French category? Although i have scheduled to rewrite TCF in 2 months time. i have already done ECA. Please advice. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ghaliz: 2:59pm On Apr 20 |
azarenka:No you cannot. Your CE and your EE is low. It is insufficient for the French category, but you're very close. Take an extra month or two to solidify your preparation then try again |

Hello all.. I need your advice. I made a CLB10 in CELPIP G with breakdown as follows L 9 R 10 W 11 S 8 I wish to max out the points under the language and skills transferability but going through the process of writing the exam again is stressful and financially demanding. I am thinking of requesting a re-evaluation for my speaking score but I’m scared. Is there the possibility of my scores being reduced or staying same upon remark? Also, what is the likelihood of my speaking scores getting to a 9? |
