There is what we call ' inside trading ' and another one , inside transaction '. The former is illegal but the latter is legit.

That's the issue I don't stay at one location for long I will just leave the location on though

Leave your location permanently open and your data ON for at least 24-84 hrs plus. It drains your battery a bit but they will confirm your location and address within the above mentioned hours and you are good to go. Just got mine confirmed today and cleared.

Use a phone or one of your phones that you can leave at home. I wouldn't know if it's about staying at one spot or location but if that's the case, you have to try or consider my suggestion as Paramount is truly worth the time and sacrifice if you ask me.

Stanbic equity doing like this is crazy. Even their balanced fund was dropping good green almost daily. For a balanced fund anyway.

You’ve done the hard part already which is having the mind to risk your money on equity, so why not risk it with the winners?

I hope they know that if they miss the greens, they definitely wont be exempt from spartacus.

Officially left Stanbic funds and the dull interest rates. This year has not really smiled on their MMF, even with the compounding interest. Hopefully they will bounce back, because they will always be my first...

@Emmasoft really tried for me oo, i remember when i would spend hours on calls and chats with him, i was so adverse to any form of risk, i was so comfortable seeing my money in the traditional bank. But he managed to convince me, and when i jumped all legs in, there was no hold backs.
Then i wanted to see what all the other 7 funds in Stanbic were talking about, i moved into 6 of them with 1 toe, and moved back out when I didn't understand what was happening there.

Thanks to @EquityM/ CSblackpink who opened up the Equity thread, i observed for a long time, made little research, and then dove all in, even with the bloody red days sef.
If someone had told me i would be putting my money into a high risk investment like Equity in 2024 when i still dey research, i for don nod the person, because i know how long it took for me to join MMF o wey be low risk.

The moral lesson of this epistle is to start somewhere and build up your risk tolerance.

@Emmasoft and EquityM, if person never tell una thank you, this is me saying it. Una dey motivate person without asking for anything.
I probably would just focus on Equity this year, read up on the Stocks thread, maybe gather enough mometum, i fit begin to dey do my own trading from next year sef.

I think some of them are also waiting for 91 days holding period to be over. But honestly, if your capital has recovered, and the interest is small (then 20% fee on it won't be much), Sacrifice it. it's still better to remove it before that 90 days and port. Of course the decision is yours biko.

It is not even only about risk tolerance, there was so much misinformation on the mutual fund thread about equity, which discouraged alot of persons. It got so bad that EquityM/ CSblackpink had to create this thread & thanks to him for creating this thread. If not for this thread, I don't think some of us would be investing in equity by now, even if we have built some level of risk tolerance. Because they painted equity so bad in the mutual fund thread, like a place u just put your money & it is gone the next morning.

Just tried to put 272k in Cs. NAV is 1.86, units alloted are 102,017.07. Which means about 189,751k is what is actually invested. With 82k lost to subscription. That's a lot o, on top 272k? A whole 82k lost to NAV? Abi na me miscalculate?
