This is the problem.
This is what I am saying. The feudal mindset. The battle to HEAD, not to participate, not to contest, not to bring out the best in examination, not to race, but to eliminate competition so that you have a free ride, so that you don't need to work hard, no need to prove yourself. All of them are involved in this.

Is this how it is done elsewhere.
Should he not focus on selling himself first, focus on promoting his qualities first.

What is he selling by way of policies, programs, ways and means to get the country ahead, and things he will do better if given the opportunity. Appeal to the senses of the people not to their sentiment and passions.

If he is afraid if Mr. Atiku's tradition of bribery and inducement, speak about the negative effects on the social fabric of the nation and the benefits of doing things right. These are the things we want to hear. These are the things that will make a difference.

Let us educate ourselves on how we can make things right and the nation great.

It's unfortunate that they're all eyeing the same prize.

More jabs that will scatter them would be after the primary election. Ameachi is a very stubborn goat. Tinubu defeated him with wide margin yet he said Tinubu rigged and vowed never to work for him.

No matter what happened, Ameachi will claim he was rigged.

If Atiku wins, obidients would draw back and wouldn't want Obi to be VP except few of them. Kwakwaso wouldn't be happy in he doesn't get VP at least. Bcoz he joined the ADC to go higher on the ladder.

So, wouldn't it have been better for kwakwaso to have accepted slots Tinubu gave him? Tinubu accepted his demands except for the removal of Shettima for him.

Kwakwaso, as Atiku said in that interview doesn't have the followers he used to have in Kano.

Ambition is the issue here.

Why is it so difficult for the coalition contenders to unite?

Why is it so difficult for some of them to put personal desires aside?

You know why?

In the book "48 Laws of Power", I read where it was stated that if 2 or more are scrambling for power, the one that gets it would use his power to crush the competitors to establish himself and confirm his dominance.

Meaning that, Atiku , Ameachi, kwakwaso they all know that whoever gets it will betray the losers and will never follow whatever agreement they had. He will rather be surrounded by new set of people and push aside his former competitors.

That's how it works.

You think if Atiku wins he will not crush the influence of kwakwaso in Kano? If Atiku wins, you think Obi, even if made a VP, would have much say on the south east people that would form govt with him?

Atiku will rather go for his old allies in PDP and SDP then. Crush your competitors, crush your opponents, crush everyone that competed with you.

That's the game.

Our constitution doesn't allow for 9 years. Don't remind about the Abuja High Court judgement that Jonathan procured to go for 3rd term.

Jonathan should have stepped down when Yar adua died and allow Senate president to take charge so that he can contest for fresh full 8 years of 4 years each.

Don't you watch primaries everywhere in the world.
As a chess player in the university for we to have representations for competition we will play among ourselves to have winners to represent us. Such matches use to be very tough.
So because they are all coalition you think they will not fight for the ticket. You don't know nothing.

My friend, competition within a normal political party is understandable. What you should be seeing in a coalition party is compromises and agreements. If they so much need to compete then there’s no point in the coalition

Sex the genuine Nigerians don't know what is party nor rotation. The only thing we want and need is credible leadership. That is why we are supporting g ADC. The moment we fail to see the only credible man in ADC as the flag bearer we withdraw our support instantly.

ADC is Obi/ Kwankwaso ticket. Atiku can try in 2031.

Compromise will come later not this early. When did aspirants started dropping for Tinubu. It was during the primaries.
