Popizaino wanted Pochetino when he already proved to be serial bottler(loser) everywhere he went including losing a league title at PSG. I remember all the warnings until his friend was appointed.

He wanted Maresca sacked knowing fully well that his replacement is gonna be someone who was an assistant to Rooney; who in his own right remains one of the worst coaches in elite football history.
