When I started web development, I knew nothing about hosting, I was getting ripped off for years, paying premium prices for average features just because I followed the crowd and stuck to popular brands 😂. People don't even realize how many hosting companies exist. We just settle for the ones we know and end up overpaying for nothing special. So one thing led to one thing, I was angry with the hosting and decide to check other platforms, lol after purchasing a hosting at that cheap rate, I begin to think of all the money I have been dashing those people for hosting when there are other platforms with better performance and cheap price, Omor not knowing other platforms exist is a bad thing. To cut the story short, I never knew I could host a site for as low as N500/month. And nobody will ever believe because to them it’s cheap, and cheap to people means bad service😂. This is how we buy cars in Nigeria at overpriced rate because we believe high price means you’re buying correct one, when someone else tell you how much they bought that your same type of car you will regret your life😂 Lol, this post don too long, but just letting you people know that you might be overpaying for hosting, others will charge 200k for site and spend just 20k for domain and host and you charge same 200k and spend over 75k for same domain and host. Now who’s making more money? If you read this to this point, just know that you can host you website with prymhosting Visit: https://www.prymhosting.com.ng |

An hosting for N500 per month → N6,000 a year? That's a good offer, but I'll count it as the low tier right? And and what about website up time. You know some cheap offers like this can fail you the day you have your highest traffic and you would regret it that day😄 The imported car high price analogy is hilariously on point TechGee: |

On your uptime concern, uptime has nothing to do with price. You can overpay for hosting and still experience downtime, and you can pay cheap and get the best uptime. It all comes down to the company itself not the price tag. But that's a separate point 😂 What people don't understand is that when it comes to hosting, resource usage resets and honestly 90% of websites don't even use up to 50% of their allocated resources. So even a website with higher traffic is not something the average site owner should be afraid of. And even if you somehow hit the limit it's not the end of the world. You just upgrade to the next tier with more resources and keep it moving. Simple. The problem is people never think it through this far. They just see a low price and assume disaster 😂 |
