IchKampf:If you are below 50 years old. Follow this set up: *50% MMF (Gains from here goes into buying the dip in Equity red days and other family expenses) *30% Equity mutual funds (Money growth long term for bigger projects to be projected year on year, secondly this returns will always beat returns from MMF) *15% Individual Stocks picking (Follow my YouTube channel for weekly stocks picks and make consistent gains on liquid large cap stocks, cash out and go enjoy your life with the gains or support your family, imagine making 6-9% on different stocks, patience is required too but gains will always be locked in) *5% Emergency cash (You will always need this when all your money has been invested) If you are above 50 years old: *70% MMF (proceed should go towards building for rent and earn from that) *20% Equity mutual funds (spread among best performing equity mutual fund, Cardinal stone is a must) *10% Cash If you are 60 years and above: *80% MMF (proceed should towards building for rent and earn from that) *20% Cash If you lucky to have a son or daughter who support you with money, take the money and buy strong individual stocks and dividend paying stocks, even if you pass away, your kids will continue earning from the small change they usually give you. Inform them about the investment too |

I want to start trading stock as a biggner please recommend app I can use although I use cowrywisewis for my mutual fund please I need guide Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 4:57pm On Apr 19 |
Ogborokiri:I would have recommended Cardinal stone but you need atleast 150k to enable you begin to trade, Naaah, not everyone can afford that. Another is Meritrade by Meristem, too advanced and not all that beginner friendly. I strongly recommend Trove or Bamboo. Stay away from Afrivest app if you don't want to regret trading, because you will spend more time complaining to their customer support than trading. After you join Trove or Bamboo, look for their Telegram community, they both have telegram community where customer support will quickly solve any app issues you encounter in real time. I am in those groups as well suggesting/recommending stocks and helping people out with their portfolio, both Nigeria and foreign stocks. Trove customer support is more responsive on Telegram. |

Thanks for this. Why did you recommend Cardinal stone for stock trading as a beginner? Is it because CS has 'buy" and "sell" option? Beeron: |

Kindly share your YouTube channel with us. How can we be trading stocks weekly? Are we going to be buying stock and dumping them weekly? Beeron: |

The SEC's most recent report, as of April 10, 2026. The excel file has not yet been updated to reflect the bullish momentum from last week. (1) Zedcrest. 2) Zrosk (3) Paramount CardinalStone will rank in the top four once the new update is released. Stanbic die-hardfans can subscribe to the Stanbic Ethical Fund or the Stanbic Imaan Fund in replacement of the Stanbic equity fund. https://sec.gov.ng/for-operators/keep-track-of-capital-market-data/net-asset-value-data/weekly-net-asset-value-for-cis/2026-weekly-nav-for-cis/ |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 7:41am On Apr 20 |
DataAnalyst2022:The way you will do it is simple. You will buy multiple stocks (according to my recommendation) hold them till it prints money, then exit the market. Note: Emphasis on "multiple stocks". Let's assume, I give signal to buy Zenith and GTCO stocks, you will have to be patient within a duration of atleast 3 weeks to a month to get atleast 10 to 20% of your initial capital. So while your Equity mutual fund brings in 0-3%, you picking stocks yourself brings you 6 - 20%. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLelyzjGuxrbj-ORzfwOEveV2vK0j1e3fw |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 7:44am On Apr 20 |
DataAnalyst2022:Re-read again, I recommended Trove or Bamboo. Cardinal stone is best for Equity mutual funds. Meritrade isnt beginner friendly. Afrivest is notorious for constant bugs and glitches |

Good Monday morning house, please pardon my rookie question; Does Paramount and Zedcrest have brick and mortar offices like stanbic and arm? or thier operations is fully online via an app? thanks for the enlightment in advance. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by auschris: 8:34am On Apr 20 |
are there other issues with cardinalstone (for trading purposes) apart from the minimum requirement of 150K you mentioned earlier? Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 8:39am On Apr 20 |
auschris:Aside the minimum requirement amount, no issues at all. Cardinal is fine. I think welzyj2 trade using cardinal stone, he should share his experience so far. |

| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 8:50am On Apr 20 |
CardinalStone is actually a nice platform for trading. No too much complications on their platform. Customer service is also great. Only on 1 occasion my trade was settled without them adding brokage fee, and an email was sent noting that to me (this speak a lot about how detailed they are) Trade settlement is also very easy. I guess this is because they control a large amount of transactions on the stock market |
