iwaeda:Omorr? Even with rising oil prices and subsidy removal? This is not funny any more. The good thing is that as it affects me, it affects those policemen that used to barricade the road, those that used to fire teargas during protests, those DSS officers that used to track Nigerians online to arrest them for speaking against bad governance. Currently it's affecting even those army generals whose lives are wasted in the north by terrorists that government has failed to name and shame their sponsors. As they loan out the future of Nigerians yet Unborn, it will also affect the children of these who support misgovernance. Forgive my ignorance, in what way is the Nigerian military rule worse than than Nigerian democracy? In what way is the current democracy better than military rule under Abacha or IBB? Seriously I still prefer Abacha era to this nonsense. One idiyet will tell me that under military rule, I wouldn't be free to write what I'm writing here, and I will tell the idiyotic idiyet that I wouldn't have any need to write in the first place. God is witness, I have nothing to point at as dividend of democracy of the past 8 years. Why is it just an impossibly for a black man to govern himself? |

Putinofrussia:Naturally...average Nigerian npc would devolve all debates to name calling and finger pointing. We can argue the figures all day for mathematical accuracy, but the irrefutable logical outcome is: no other president before him has borrowed this much this fast. With the added bonus of being able to directly influence all other branches of government through his political party. Literally like how can the executive branch send loan request to the legislative How can you claim to be a thinker and still write: "Nigerians joy is that the loans are being used for infrastructures that we can use,Educational subsidies and social welfare at al." Its either you're not sure of what you are saying or youre a plant. Please what infrastructures have you seen that is worth the $1billion of the $32billion you claim has been borrowed? What new government hospitals or schools do you know have been built or renovated? Where is the new airport or stadium you have seen in construction? How can you even open your mouth and talk about the student loans that are an obvious debt trap, the person borrowing you the loan for school is not providing you a job after as a path to pay back the loan, giving you what you want 'today' while leveraging your future, then once the loans were announced 2 years ago most institutions increased the prices of their school fees across the board, meanwhile he raised the cost of living, transportation and basic amenities. |

L0wk3y:No govt is perfect and this administration is no exception. He has done a little more than any previous govt in Health,Education, social welfare, infrastructures at al. Yes,he raised the cost of living which is a No,No for me but the truth is, it is a global problem. It was even worse in late 2023 when he became President. It is not yet uhuru but things have eased a little but we actually want more ease. In Health,he has done more than previous govts. Before President Tinubu took office in May 2023, Nigeria had roughly 33,000 primary health centres but about 80% were non-functional. Tinubu has done these and more... 1.As of early 2026, Tinubu has upgraded over 8,800 PHCs and is aiming to renovate 17,600 centers with plans to establish 8,880 new ones. 2.Free treatment for pensioners all over Nigeria. 3.Heavy subsidies on treatment of Dialysis. 4.Free Maternal Services for vulnerable pregnant women under the National Health Insurance Scheme, with thousands having benefited by mid-2025. 5.He also established and included a Vulnerable Group Fund in the national budget, with over N12bn disbursed to cover nearly 2 million individuals. We really want more especially to allow the masses breath just like he said. |

Putinofrussia:You mean the same person that signed an agreement to start paying doctors again, then 5 months later, after the first payout happens he immediately reneges on the deal. There have been subsidies in education, in healthcare, in petroleum and even in medical schools and care workers expenses. Then he came and removed everything with the promise of making things better….newsflash, he made it all worse. 3500 people graduated from healthcare(doctors and nurses) in 2024 medical sector, in the same year Nigeria lost more than 4000 doctors to emigration. Which free health care for pensioners when they haven’t even been paid pension lol, you forgot the police woman that they tear-gassed January in Abuja cos she was protesting for her pension with fellow officers after working 21 years in the police force? How can you say the cost of living is rising everywhere, when your government floated your currency on the money market so that his assets held in dollars can literally double overnight in Nigeria. Same person has brought in, car tax, increased customs tax, created Personal income tax, levied, value added tax and tried to implement petroleum tax after removing subsidies. 🤣🤣🤣 Same person employed Atiku Bagudu as Minister of budgeting, same Bagudu that was indicted during Abachas time for theft and money laundry, same Bagudu that the United States doj and uk gov identified as the key person who helped Abacha loot the country and get away with it 20years ago, who eventually returned money back after he was caught and found guilty, that is the person currently doing budgeting and planning for your country’s future. Everywhere else in the world as the price of petrol increased due to the Iran-Us standoff their government’s subsidized it so the citizens don’t eat the cost, what did your government do abeg? All the things you listed above which of them have you seen the perceived effect on the economy? Free maternal services for who? What about the woman that lost her son in Plateau state, that your president gave a fake promise to at the airport that it won’t happen again, only for him to leave and her community was attacked the very next day and 3 more times over the coming week. Nothing works in a place where there’s no security of lives and properties bro. Do you ever stop to sit down and think: Hey, 300 people were kidnapped from school and taken away and the government says they can’t find them….these people were not carried away or kidnapped in cars ohh, they were marched away from their homes on feet en mass, but somehow the soldiers cannot see their footprints on the floor, the K-9 unit suddenly can no longer smell and track and the Nigerian government cannot do a flyby of the place cos the people are invisible? But 3 weeks later they can fire air strikes at people in Jilli village killing hundreds of them, then come online to say they were targeting terrorists. You can’t make this shit up bro. 2025 healthcare budget was earmarked at 2.48trillion Naira, but only 38million naira was acknowledged to have been recieved by the ministry of health. Power distributors where owed 5trillion naira as at 2023, but your government has paid them 3.3trilion naira 2 times in 3 years, yet the distributors claim they are still being owed and yet to be paid. Let’s not even talk of the fact that 2024, 2025 & 2026 budgets are all running concurrently 🤣 Or the fact that no money has been released to private and major government contractors for capital projects since last year despite Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh exposed that despite ₦1.15 trillion being approved for 2025 capital projects, and substantial borrowing, zero disbursement reached capital projects? And yes I know he increased our foreign reserves in January back to 50billion dollars for the first time since Obasanjo….but anybody that has sense knows that he did it only so he can improve the country’s credit stance and allow him to borrow more money in the long run. Heck since the January he already borrowed 8billion in 3 months 🤣🤣 After having his private company Alpha Beta consulting handle state tax for Lagos since 2008, he became president and invited France to come an handle your tax payment and citizens data. Then he signed away majority of your capital projects in 2023 to Chinese cooperations in exchange for loans, then in 2026 he took a loan from the Uk, with the financing to be controlled by the uk and the money for the projects to be spent mainly on uk companies. Meanwhile Nigerians remain grossly unemployed. Wake up…you have a government of scammers that have leveraged your present and future for their own personal gain. All the figures you see that they tell you they spend is all lies. The very first promise they made to you in 2023 was that “by all means you must have electricity”….fast forward to 2025 and they’ve allocated N20billion for Aso rock Solar plant, once again they saved themselves and then left you to perish. Let’s not even talk about how ridiculous it is to allocate N20billion($15million) for Aso Rock alone. 🤣 Don’t try to defend these guys bro, you can never come across in a good light. Nigeria story na plenty ‘e no easy’ with a side of “God abeg”.

| Re: Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval For Fresh $516m Loan by Putinofrussia: 8:55pm On Apr 28 |
L0wk3y:He should borrow $100 billion so that he can build infrastructures the way he is doing all over the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria and also use it for social welfare like the type of Nelfund,Free technical colleges for the Nigerian masses. Apart from high cost of living which is global and insecurity, this Tinubu govt is the best because he has performed more than the previous govts combined especially in infrastructures and education.. |

Putinofrussia:Ohh you never still see the light….person dey mortgage your future in front of your eyes and you still dey in disbelief 🤣 Go watch Sahel chronicles for YouTube by Jude Bela him just drop new video, watch asap so you can get your knowledge up… I’ve been asking you what the plan to payback the loans are, when I ask for a reply you seem to come up empty…how can you watch someone leverage your future away and you’re stood there clapping for him?
