I didn’t defend violence or terrorism in any form. The killing of civilians on October 7 was tragic, just like the killing of innocent civilians anywhere else. My point was simply that every side in a conflict uses information strategically, including governments and military agencies. Questioning a source is not the same as supporting terrorism. We should be able to condemn attacks on civilians and still think critically about narratives being pushed from all sides.
