As a proud Toyota owner, what is that part you wish you could get genuine the first time? What is that part that has sent you to mechanics multiple time and your confidence isn't still restored?

My legs always making clunking noise when driving on rough road, have visited mechanic and he said I should change stabilizer link and bushings, I have done that and the noise is still there,

Even when i drive to 80kmh, my steering wheel vibrates, done wheel alignment and still same issue, mechanic said I should change my steering intermediate shaft ( AKA steering knuckle) but I'm skeptical to change that, because I'm tired of wasting money

You didn't state which car this is, but if the steering is electric-assisted, you may need to focus on the steering rack.

On the vibration, have you done wheel balancing?

It's 2012 toyota corolla, yes it's electric steering

You didn't state which car this is, but if the steering is electric-assisted, you may need to focus on the steering rack.

I don't use Toyota o but I have some who experienced all you stated up there with his BMW. Turned out that his engine sit was the culprit.

Check the engine sit and your bow joint

Haven’t used a Toyota since 2022, after using different Toyota for 15 yrs. The suspension system and legs(e.g shaft, linkage, ball joints, etc) and timing belt are a scourge Toyota engineers need to work on. I’m glad I’ve not used Toyota for 6 yrs.

When you're driving to 80kmh and your steering vibrates it could be as a result of the tyre sizes

The legs. Mostly front leg. One thing must just worry u. Small thing ur tyre don chop few weeks after aliegnment.

Then if ur gearbox is 13pin. D day u touch it is d day u start thinking of changing it.

i drive to 80kmh, my steering wheel vibrates, Please check your ball-joint. Jerk up your two front tyre and shake the tires whether there is allowance if it is firmed then change your ball joint your steering will not vibrate again.

I have Toyota Dashboard, my difficult moment with the car is when I drive above 80km the steering began to vibrate

Jack up one side of the front drivers tyre, put the car on DRIVE and watch that side of the tyre roll, do same for front passenger's side. You will most likely see that it is the inner Continuous Velocity Joint. Just replace it and see the ride return to factory setting.

Get a good ac mechanic I suffered same fate for a long time not untill I was introduced to a guy that worked it, since a year and months now the ac is perfect

Had this same issue, but was lucky enough to discover it was the power steering damper that's causing it, located in the steering it was broken, problem stopped immediately it was changed. Don't let your mechanic convince you to construct it for you, try and get the replacement, image of it attached, the new one and how the broken piece looks like. Thank me later

Had this same issue with my Camry 2012, I did balancing, alignment, changed tyres it continued until i was lucky enough to discover it was the power steering damper that's causing it, located in the steering it was broken, problem stopped immediately it was changed. Don't let your mechanic convince you to construct it for you, try and get the replacement, image of it attached, the new one and how the broken piece looks like. Price of it in Abuja Apo was 35k but I ordered from lagos 5k I had to buy 3 waybill was 5k what I spent was 20k to get 3pcs. Thank me later.
