NEW: More gains of strategic connection to the centre, as President Tinubu directs the installation of solar-powered street lights from Enugu to Onitsha.

Truth be told, Tinubu has done a lot for Enugu under the visionary Governor Mbah. And Engr Dave Umahi is unarguably the best ever Minister of Works.

Ndi Enugu are increasingly seeing the clear benefits of aligning with the party at the centre of national power and politics.

• Under President Tinubu's administration, the South East Development Commission was established, with headquarters in Enugu.

• President approved the concession of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, including the completion of the abandoned international terminal and the construction of a new cargo terminal, finally making the airport truly international and not merely in name. The first Nigerian airport to be successfully concessioned.

• President Tinubu, chairing the Federal Executive Council, approved ₦24 billion for the construction of the 82 Division/Abakpa Junction Flyover in Enugu.

• The President also approved the immediate and expedited reconstruction of the collapsed twin New Artisan Bridge.

• President Tinubu gave approval for the speedy construction of Eke Obinagu Flyover, Emene, in support of the dualisation of the 21.7km Abakaliki Road from the Airport Flyover to the Ebonyi State border by the Peter Mbah administration.

• The President approved the continued funding of the reconstruction of Enugu - Onitsha Expressway. See the transformation of the stretch from Abakpa Junction to Trans Ekulu flyover towards 9th Mile

• President Tinubu approved the ongoing dualization of the 9th Mile – Obollo Afor – Oturkpo highway after decades of neglect and abandonment.

• The President approved the release of funds for the continuation of the reconstruction of the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway.

• President Tibunu appointed an Enugu son, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla as the Chief of the Naval Staff, and subsequently another Enugu son, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, as the Chief of the Air Staff.

* Coming Soon: Presidential approval secured for key infrastructure projects in Enugu and the South East

* Revitalisation of the Eastern Rail Line from Port Harcourt through Aba, Enugu, Ubahu, Eha Amufu, Oturkpo, Kafanchan, Kaduna, to Maiduguri.

* Extension of gas pipeline to Enugu to power industrialisation across the state.

• Let me stop for now. Doubters should please fact-check me.

I am double sure the the 2 below points are lies:

Revitalisation of the Eastern Rail Line from Port Harcourt through Aba, Enugu, Ubahu, Eha Amufu, Oturkpo, Kafanchan, Kaduna, to Maiduguri.

* Extension of gas pipeline to Enugu to power industrialisation across the state.

Furthermore, so many other points you highlighted are under strict scrutiny for truthfulness.

Finally, some of the projects you mentioned is 100% done by Enugu State government from heavy tax levied and being paid by Enugu State people.

So giving all the credit to Thief - nubu is uncalled for

It's not about reeling out projects, but about funding. We've heard most of these stories before. Where are the capital budget releases for the so called projects?

So, we needed to align with the centre for solar street light installation on Enugu/Onitsha highway?

Nothing makes sense to us than improving standard of living and ensuring tight security in the nation. Aside the two, everything else from the government is nonsense.

THIS IS NONSENSE.

This is a clear case of failed promise of constant electric power supply. If we had vibrant and transparent electoral system in place I could've betted anything on it that Emilokan would be routed with wide margin in 2027 presidential election.

Omo...

The most negative people in this world are Nigerians. They'll always dig up negativity from the most positive channels.

It's understandable to be critical of things, but outright negativity... It's crazy.

Why not fund, construct and complete one project at a time. It's ok to plan so many but let's get one done properly in record time then move to the next.
5 effective and completed projects within a tenure is better than tens of them at different stages of work at the end of tenure.

You just analysed the normal basic things a government is supposed to do for the people. You don't need to "align with the center" to get these. Let's stop applauding basic things.

One of the nonsense mentality we now think is normal is that you must vote and support the party in power to enjoy government benefits

IT IS NOT A FAVOUR. It is the right of the people to get these from their government

And the lives of millions of people should pause until it reaches their turn? Imagine for example, doing it alphabetical order, which year anything go reach Zamfara. Or what metrics do you suggest for this turn by turn thing?
