I am not supporting Atiku, but it is obvious that he remains the most formidable figure among the opposition contenders. There is a reason Tinubu appears entirely unbothered by the swarm of political cockroaches, lizards, and croaking frogs parading themselves as presidential hopefuls, yet found it necessary to respond personally after Atiku’s media interview.

Real political relevance is not measured by loitering around airport terminals, carrying luggage for celebrities, posing for photographs with puppies, or washing aircraft lavatories. Serious strategists do not waste their time on inanities as they are too focused on their objectives.

Bottomline is that the opposition is spoilt for choice come 2027. Any combination will give Tinubu a run for his money. With Seyi Makinde now onboard, even the Southwest will be up for grabs. Tinubu will not win the region in a landslide as his lackeys like to pretend.

Makinde's influence stops with the governorship race.
Already, he is having problems in his senatorial zone.
Oyo State is up for grabs for Tinubu and there's a reason he rejected Makinde's offers.
