The South Africans blacks are bragging over an economy which the Whites help to strategically develop for them, and in which their recurring black leaders are gradually dismantling.

Because we have failed to do what South Africans are doing, we now have foreigners constituting nuisance in Nigeria.

I commend the efforts of the south Africans.

More than 100 Togolese, Nigeriens and others are in Nigeria without visa, which is a contributory factor to the insecurity being faced in the country
Oh that 100.preventwd you from achieving your aim.

If not that they are in the country, by now you would have invented thunder phone.

You must be living in stone age

The South African Constitution guarantees everyone access to healthcare services. As such, everyone living in South Africa, including expats, refugees, and asylum seekers, is entitled to healthcare. Thus, expats qualify to visit public healthcare facilities simply based on living in the country.
Primary healthcare so that you don't bring us ebola, but still required to have healthcare insurance when you apply for visa.

Show me a South African living in another country illegally. That makes you a criminal.

I have an illegal south Africa migrant who works for me here in portharcourt, but man is living his best life without any disturbance from the authorities or citizens here.

Have noticed that you're a xenophobic fellow here on nairaland.

South Africa has multinational companies, have you not noticed? Why would we leave SA to go live in a less developed country? All of Africa is less developed than SA and therefore not attractive to us.

If you chase us out, we leave with our DSTVs, Stanbic, Shoprite, MTN, etc.
Please which of the DSTVs and shoprite?

The viral video where members of Operation Dudula (an anti-immigration organisation and registered political party) confronted a Ghanaian man who had allegedly overstayed his visit to South Africa has caused a diplomatic row between the two countries.

Here's why I think the Ghanaian government has a weak case:

1. Their citizen has potentially committed a crime in SA by flouting immigration rules - he's allegedly now living and working in SA on an expired tourist visa.

2. Operation Dudula did not assault the Ghanaian, they simply lectured him on their anti-immigration stance.

3. The South African government has committed to investigate the matter, which would compel it to either arrest or deport the Ghanaian national should he infact be an illegal alien.

4. South Africa can request Ghana for reasons why her citizens resort to illegal migration (i.e. find the country uninhabitable).

Your thoughts?
One very funny thing is that they are so scared of white people they plundered their land.

2-sided coin matter:
1. Overstaying your visa is a crime punishable by the law, dude should be handled by the law and face the consequence
2. Saying you don't want AFRICANS in SA is a dumb idea, naturally impossible; we know the Europeans helped fix SA not the blacks. This idea shows how lowly and unintelligible the said immigration party is, you can clamp down on illegal migrants but cannot survive on your own, never!
Allow the law take its course not spit gibberish

It is their conduct in those countries that matters, not their presence there . Most of black migrants in South Africa entered illegaly.

That is why there is insecurity is everywhere. A foreigner comes into your country and you dont care, yet you said they are plenty as if you are an immigration officer keeping the data .
So what you mean is the black migrants in SA live reckless and noisy lives meaning they should be shown the way out .

"Go and fix your own country" is hate speech.
People will always travel from one country to another.
There is no law which mandates anybody to "fix his own country".
A person who travels to another country does so for his personal or official reasons. He does not travel to make the citizens of that country happy.

Learn the meaning of xenophobia. I'm talking about illegal aliens and not documented African migrants which I don't have a problem with for reasons we can discuss.

Has your illegal South African's mental health been checked. Can't imagine moving from SA to Nigeria for a better life😂 He was most probably deceived into moving there and then found himself stranded. Lmao is that the SANs that were asking for the Ghanaian to leave their country? cheesy

Omooorrrr Nigerians fine sha coz wtf is that creature ? cheesy

Meanwhile to be very frank, SANs have every right to ask other Africans to go back home and hold their governments accountable. It's a shame that instead of fixing our various African countries, we resorted to fleeing to countries where citizens of those countries put their boots on ground and got the country working.

Take for instance, Nigeria has a population of over 200 million, our oppressors aren't even upto 100k but we can't unite and hold them tight to demand accountability, demand for a working Nigeria, we'd prefer we sell our ancestral lands and use the money to flee from Nigeria, that's crazy, absurd and an act of cowardice.
There are Americans, Canadians, Australians, Germans in South Africa, when will you ask the xenophobic south Africans to send them parking too?

There's nothing 'shameful' about it.

Both SA and Ghana are sovereign countries with borders and their nationals have passports. They are well within their rights to determine who's an immigrant and who isn't.

But what I am saying is its d job of the officers to know who has overstayed or who is committing crime. If u are an immigrant we welcome u ,we dont discriminate, so far u are living your life peacefully, if u are a menace, u will def get the attention of the police.

They sound like the modern day Gen Z Lagosian that appears to have found their long lost identities since the capital moved to Abuja.

That air of superiority over other Nigerians they see today as burdens, not the assets they were in the 50's, to late 80's when the unitary system forced every associate of the Federal government to work and live there.

Exactly the same talk....we don't want you here...go and fix your states....we are tired of carrying the burdens of Nigeria....we are responsible for 99.99 percent of the GDP, 101 percent of revenues accruable to Nigeria....bla, bla, bla....funny life.

Now the South Africans who think they are apex predators on the continent have met their match in the United States and they are moaning about discrimination, profiling and the forceful delamination of their society.
Re: 'Fix Your Countries': Video That Has Sparked Ghana-SA Diplomatic Row - PICTURES by grandstar(m): 3:35pm On Apr 25
The tragedy here is that these South Africans dont even know what the problem is.

South African has very high unemployment that is caused by rigid labor laws which make it expensive to hire workers and difficult to fire them.

Countries with rigid labor laws usually have high unemployment rates because if you find it difficult firing an unwanted employee, this will discourage you from hiring.

This is the root of the high unemployment rate in South Africa.

Asking Africans to go back home to fix their countries is balderdash. Ghanas per capita would match that of South Africa in 2 decades at the speed it is going.

Italians used to seek greener pastures for decades in other countries. They do not do so any more as they are now an advanced nation.

Everyone needs to stay in their country @MTN @protea @ stanbic @dstv etc and all south African companies .... You can't be earning from other African countries to develop these set of xenophobic idiots

If these companies were to pack up and leave Nigeria (for example), there would be job losses. It won't be pretty. People need to remember that.

These companies are OPS members and can easily be regulated. Wasn't it MTN that was fined recently by FGN for some tax infraction? They broke the law and paid for it. There's a big difference between a multi-billion Naira firm and a semi-skilled labourer.

These companies will not be that easy to replace.

Very funny thread with very funny Nigerians on it.

Nigerians are talking about SA 'hate speech' etc. Lots of comments about how Europeans 'developed' SA, etc.

The tragedy is that we Nigerians say (and do) far, far worse to one another - than any other country's nationals. No need to go into details. The evidence is all over this platform.

As unpleasant as it may sound to some people's ears, the woman in this video has a point. We have to fix this country, because no one else will. Sadly, I don't see that happening anytime soon...the last FCT council elections had several hundred young men playing football on election day - instead of exercising their sacred right to vote. undecided

The insults and ridicule will continue until we fix this country.
