Is afrinvest a scam company?

Lots of negativity comments on all their social media handles as investors can no longer withdraw their money from the app

Some withdrawal has been pending for over a months

This is a big red flag to the ecosystem

They sent me an email yesterday, that i topped up my wallet with 500 naira despite the fact that I've deleted their app on my phone three months ago.

Anybody using Stanbic should please check the fund price for me please. Did they trade on the 26/04/2026 which is a Sunday and made a loss? How did the fund bid price go from 61221.64 on Friday to 60453.21 on Sunday? Stanbic don dey play us oooo

Yakubu is on its way, CSCS has approved the dividends payment, most stocks will deduct their dividend payment from the share price.

Stanbic updated on Saturday night. Then deducted the exact same amount which was credited into the Imaan funds thereby returning the fund value to the exact same value as at Friday morning. For equity funds, they deducted way more than was even credited on Saturday meaning the value is now less than Friday morning.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?

I deposited fund into my paramount EF since Friday, however, this has not reflected since. Pls can someone tell me what is happening?

I was reading through the stocks thread this weekend and they crying because of UBA dividend.....I knew UBA will receive wotowoto....

But.... investors choose to extend the beating to everywhere

Ask why CSOF is consistently doing this numbers and Why new managers tend to always lead the table in their first year.

Market never close na...equity fund will see small red today. It is almost certain

They aren't just using the equity contribution for only us na. They also have huge stake in their equity fund

Management fee and the rest also dey. But I feel most equity mutual funds are fairly priced and gain/loss also decent

If you want more gain (more risk) trade some stocks yourself

Cowrywise don't have banking stocks. Banking stocks are the one taking the beating.
