That is a very valid question when doctors are clerking for an infertility case..because they want to first make sure you are even having adequate sexually intercourse according to WHO.Because your chances of not getting pregnant is reduced if you are not having adequate sexual intercourse and so a person that has undergone female genital mutilation like her case .may not even be having adequate sex

Unfortunately, the ratio of highly skilled male gynecologists to females makes your demand inconceivable.

Tell or encourage your females to take that medical specialization as seriously as their fellow male counterparts are.

No one prevented or held women back from taking over that Specialty.

Why don’t you all urge more ladies to go into obstetrics and gynecology instead of making noise that a man will not touch your woman bla bla bla.
There’s no field in medicine that is gender specific.
When it comes to a matter of life and death you will not even care the sex of whoever is handling that your woman.
Have you bothered to ask yourself why women are avoiding this aspect of medicine.
Do you think as women are avoiding this field and there were no men in the same field, pregnant ladies would have survived what they are surviving.
Because the person who created the tread has an issue with a male gynecologist, it is not a yardstick to slander the men who are in the field.
Go to hospitals and find out the number of women in this particular field you will find out they are very few.
Come back and drop your findings before making noise.

I'll always get a female gynaecologist or maybe you thought I was talking about low budget Nigerian hospitals.

I could see some funny comments up there tho. All I know is that you can not trivialize or criminalize that profession just because a few are perverts.

If, as a woman, you feel violated by a male gynaecologist, you have a right to press charges in a competent court of law. Not everything should be brought online for content.

On the other hand, you need to be open-minded when visiting a gynaecologist, because you visit him because you need help. So, for you to preoccupy your mind with the thoughts of meeting a pervert before hand is quite wrong.

Alternatively, you can request for a female doctor, if that's what you're comfortable with.

Not until some people like this one know that what they are hoarding and hiding is readily available for unbelievable amounts and even items before they realize that there is nothing special in between their thighs.

Because as a medic, when you have to examine a woman's Kini, sex is the last thing on your mind.

I remember one case of a teenager with obstructive labor. I can say with all cofnidence that what was in my mind was why th cervix was not widening fast enough and I hope the fluid comming out of the womb is not too coloured brown..

And when it is retained placenta, the only thought is simple. Make the thing comot fast or we may have to do surgery, even to the point of removing the womb
