How far has Russia gone with the war they started with small Ukraine after invading Ukraine over four years ago. They are yet to make any tangible breakthrough.

You like fooling yourself, so as the US/ Isreal also made any breakthrough in the current war in the Middle East.

Continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz hurts not only Iran but the entire world including the US.

It is not like Iran is begging the US to relax the blockade, The blockade itself is counter productive for the US, if prolonged because of the resources and logistics required to sustain it . Iran is just using the Strait of Hormuz has leverage in the negotiations, trying to approach negotiations from their own position of power. Donald Trump is just experiment and gambling, he really wants an end to this war. His approval ratings are dropping fast and his media distraction tactics are not working anymore.

If full maritime traffic is not restored in the Strait, for a large part of this year,we will start feeling its impact on food, may we not experience famine, food shortages etc. Even without Hormuz closure, we still have food inflation. Another is a global energy crisis and an impending global recession.

Talkless of when fertilizers are denied to farmers. The world may not be able to survive this crisis because of Strategic importance of the Middle East and Ukraine to food production in the world.
