Exactly!

And that slow pace means that the decay is faster than the recovery.

It is their Obligation, they've been in power in Lagos since democracy started in 1999 and have been in power at the federal level for almost 11 years now, so who are they trying to blame for the past failure of not fixing it?

Look at them acting as though they just got into power, just look at the statement (if you truly knew how terrible it was before APC) as if they just started ruling yesterday, shameless people...

They really tried for that tincan axis too. All trailer's insubordination has gone. If you see minor traffic, it will be auto wharf area now or mile 2 en route oshodi because of those stubborn commercial drivers or minor traffic at ladipo especially when they are closing. They really did a magic in those axis. It was hellish back then...

Mile2 issue has been solved, yeah..

I think one of the reasons gridlocked do happens before was cuz of how those coming into Nigeria thru Benin 🇧🇯 do pass thru mile2. But government already double almost all the lane over there. A very wide lane - that action solved gridlock !

For example, from Lasu to badagry, you can reach there in no time… Go slow hardly happens except a big vehicle spoilt for road..

Before before, nah trouble to pass those road..

So why is there traffic on third mainland bridge and around Ikeja and Lekki. I guess they are using water to fuel cars there

That is how it should be, they should spread it to other parts of state and Nigeria in general.
The caption by the X user though, all because of Apapa oshodi road for people who have been in power since 1999, who do they expect to do the road?.
Majority of Nigerians will tell you PDP iwas better for them and still prefer PDP government to APC. till Today. Apart from politicians and their foot soldiers, who in Nigeria today doesn't grown because of hatch economic situation occasioned by this APC. Since 2015 no single finance for electricity power plant, hence the epileptic power supply in the country

How come we had less debt and less corruption during PDP years of low inflation, widespread prosperity and less unemployment with low insecurity huh

socialmediaman:
The 2018 Rating by Transparency International placed Nigeria at 148th position out of 180 countries. Nigeria was improving over the years under the previous government, until Buhari got elected as president, things became worse.

There is a difference between fact and fiction. We need to face facts, Buhari is worse than GEJ when it comes to fighting corruption, at least that’s what the facts prove.

Most of us believed there was corruption under Goodluck Jonathan’s Government. I agree with those who did, there was corruption, but not as bad as it is today under Mohammadu Buhari.

In 2012, Nigeria was placed at 139th position, In 2014, Nigeria gained 3 steps and was placed at 136th position. Under Buhari, Nigeria has lost many positions down to 148th.

There’s no further proof needed that corruption has worsened under Buhari’s government compared to previous years.

Nigerians doesn’t have memory, they’ve forgotten how things used to be during PDP era. No single infrastructure, only stomach infrastructure.
Sharing the money while throwing crumbs to the people.
APC are not the best Nigeria deserve but they are still the best we’ve got that have done things for the masses.
If APC completes 16 years in power then we can compare their performance with that of PDP.
Hungry in the land, yes! Growth? yes! It’s a survival of the fittest. Not just in Nigerian but all over the world.

Building road, roads and more roads every year. What about hospitals, hospitals, health centres and more hospitals. Affordable healthcares. Homes and homes. Affordable homes for the millions of SICK and HOMELESS people in Lagos.

More Mental health centres for many many mentally ill and depressed people who fiil the streets of lagos. A healthy population makes a rich and posporous society

Understandably so, because we can't use pictures of roads to pay subsidy forced on us by APC's massive corruption in the oil sector. Or can we huh

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

Do you know the economy better than the experts huh

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”
